If you tend to get chilled on the slopes and in town, and you're not stoked on wearing a jacket that makes you look like a marshmallow-woman, zip into The North Face Furallure Tweed Down Jacket. This puffy's 600-fill down keeps you super warm, and the tweed fabric and faux fur trim on the hood add urban style. The hood and fur both detach from the Furallure Tweed Jacket, so you're ready for dry ski days and stormy nights downtown. The North Face Furallure down jacket's rib-knit waist and cuffs helps block the elements.
Bottom Line: Sport a unique and charming look this winter with The North Face Tweed Down Jacket.
Fantastic investment in the Pittsburgh winters, now serving me well in Denver. I didn't want to look like a tube so I opted for this piece, a little more stylish and super warm. I could walk to work with just one layer underneath with no problems, come snow, rain, or wind chill.
From the pictures, this jacket appeared to be just what I was looking for, but the real-life fit had some major issues... The jacket hits at the waist, but rides up due to the elastic, exposing your lower back. The sleeves are disproportionately long. Lastly, the overall silhouette is poofy and round - not slim as I expected it to be. On the pro-side, the jacket is extremely warm and has the high quality construction and details you'd expect from The North Face. Dealing with this store was a very positive experience - However, I will probably end up exchanging this particular jacket.
helo...i'm very interesting in this jacket, and i would like to buy...but i have question abaut size. is size's this jacket are European or American???best regards Marta

This jacket is awesome - just the style I was looking for! I originally got a medium, but the sleeves were waaaay too long and in general the size was a bit too large. The sleeves on the small were just right (but still long enough for my liking) and fit better all around. It is a short jacket, but that's part of the reason why I like it, very stylish. This jacket is also VERY warm, and I love all the pockets.
This is a synthetic material woven to look like tweed with the advantage that it wont' absorb as much moisture. The fabric is not only synthetic but is also seam-sealed and totally waterproof.
I am 5'2 120lbs and generally fit in size medium jackets. I ordered a medium and found that it was extra big. If you are interested in buying this jacket I would recommend getting a size smaller.
I bought this jacket for my girlfriend as an early birthday present, and she loves it a lot! I like it too, because it complements my McMurdo Ltd Edit. Parka, in Asphalt Gray. We look so cute in our tweed coats!
This is the warmest jacket ever! I love it because it's kept me warm so far during this New York winter. I'm 5'7" and have a long torso, and this jacket keeps me covered. Very comfy, also.
This is such a cute jacket! It fits great on me (I'm 5'3 and 110 pounds - I got the XSM). The sleeves are a tad long which is ok since I have longer limbs. But even with a shorter torso...the jacket seems to be a tad short (I guess that's the style) for boarding or skiing. I can just picture myself wiping out and getting a lot of snow up my jacket (brrrr!). I haven't decided on whether I will keep it or not...
