Description

Feel the breeze as you hike up the ridge.

Because staying cool and dry in the winter weather is just as important as staying warm, you wear The North Face Women's Freedom LRBC Pant. Hiking up a ridge or skinning all morning can create a lot of heat, but this pant's Chimney Venting system uses mesh by the ankle gaiters and inner thigh zips to keep the fresh air cycling through. They're made with waterproof HyVent fabric and are fully seam taped to keep out moisture, with a relaxed fit and cargo pocket for a touch of style. A kick patch and scuff guards reduce slices and holes from edges, crampons, and parking-lot walking, and show everyone that you're an earn-your-turns ripper, not a gondola-riding ski bunny.

  • 2-layer HyVent nylon oxford fabric
  • Fully taped seams
  • Chimney Venting system
  • Kick patch and scuff guards
  • StretchVent ankle gaiters

awesome!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

awesome and not constricting at all. The only flaw is that my pair have started wearing in the knee and has threads hanging off everywhere, but I also ski/instruct close to everyday. Only wish they had more color options!

Waterproof snowpants!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I recently bought these snow pants prior to a four-day ski trip. I'm far from being an expert skier and found myself on the ground quite often. That being said, I was very impressed with these pants- they kept my legs warm and DRY! I took a star off because as thrilled as I was that the leg was long enough (I'm 5'9"), the waist is a bit snug.

How do the sizes correspond to numbered sizes? I'm a 4 and I'm not sure if I should order a S or M.

Responded on

Depending on if you'd like to layer underneath, I'm about 5'5" 125lbs and I would go for a Medium, but if you're smaller than that, I would recommend going with the Small.

Black is Back :)

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Well for me at least..Black is Back. It has been a very long time since I have owned a pair of black ski pants....soo I was in the market..and I have to say..I am super stoked on these pants. I totally anticipated these being too big..like most pants on me. I ordered the obvious for me, xs/short. I'm 5'2" 105 lbs. so naturally I go xs for the most part..pants that have length options are even better :). These fit pretty much perfect. Waist has the slight low rise with tabs to adjust, love em'! , the length is perfect, burly material. Overall, these are super sweet..again for me, fit fit fit woohoo :) , now I want more colors :))
