Feel the breeze as you hike up the ridge.
Because staying cool and dry in winter weather is just as important as staying warm, wear The North Face Women's Freedom LRBC Pants the next time you plan on earning your turns. Both the bootpack and skintrack can generate a lot of heat, but with mesh vents by the ankle gaiters and inner thigh zips, the pants will keep fresh and cool air cycling through, so you don't feel like a moist towelette by the time you reach the top. The Freedoms are made with a waterproof HyVent shell and are fully seam taped to keep moisture out. A kick patch and scuff guards reduce slices and holes from edges, crampons, and parking-lot walking, so you won't have to bust out the duct tape any time soon.

comfy ski pants
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: m
I think these pants fit true to size. I am built pretty straight (no hips or butt) and these pants fit me perfectly! I have 2 pairs of them.
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large long
I currently wear a pant size -US Ladies 12 -14. The Northface size chart indicated that the Ladies Large fit a size 16. Being cold quite often while skiing I ordered the Large thinking that I could wear fleece pants under them and have room for movement. There is NO room for fleece long johns. I would say the large actually fits a 10-12. I opted for the long and the length is great! Off to do my crunches. Otherwise very well constructed pant. They match my new jacket perfectly!
nice pants.....if you have no curves
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: small and medium
I really wanted to get these pants to fit. These have a durable exterior and a soft inner separate lining. The medium was comfy but I was swimming in the waist and while they are adjustable, it wasn't enough. I sent them back to try the small. The small waist was great, but the hips and rear were too tight. Sadly, both are going back. It probably runs true to size, but the cut didn't work for me.
Are these warm, and are they used for skiing?? Or hiking?
They are for skiing. Although, they are on the lighter side and could hike in them if it was really cold.
