how does the hood fit a ski helmet?

Responded on

The hood will fit a ski helmet, but in my North Face jacket it tends to pull the entire jacket upwards a little bit, especially if I have the jacket zipped all the way up to the hood and velcroed shut.
It will definitely work though.

Two questions of sorts ... so would this be a good jacket to wear on a bone chilling snowy day in New Hampshire when the wind is blowing? And the sleeves ... what are they made of on the inside? (I know, seems like a silly question but when it is made of cloth or wool, etc., it makes sliding in my arms when I am willing a wool shirt slow going).

I am going to answer this question assuming you are only going to wear underneath this what you will wear the rest of the day around the office. This has no insulation so this is not going to work as a stand alone on a bone chilling snowy day in New Hampshire. A chilly, wet fall commute, yeah this might work, but unless you are layering then I do not suggest this if your bones will chill. As far as the liner goes it straight up polyurethane.
