I'm a 5'0" and 90 lbs 28 yr old and often buy kids size bc they fit better and they're less expensive :) I bought these pants in black size L and it was really loose on the waist and long on the length. I also tried on the North Face Derby Pant in size L and those fit nicely. Kinda weird since I went by the measurements. I recommend the North Face Derby over these.

I bought these pants, because the women's xs were too baggy. These pants fit a little better. I love that they had the inseam that you could let out so it allowed the pants to be long enough for me.

I'm 5'4 and I too had the same problem, xs was too baggy in women's pants.
What size did you end up getting that fit the best from a kid size?
