Description
Snow pant with just the right amount of insulation and ventilation for almost any day on the mountain.
Since your temperature tends to fluctuate on the mountain, The North Face Women's Freedom LRBC Insulated Pant uses a bit of Heatseeker for chilly mornings and Chimney Venting for warm afternoons. The snow-shedding HyVent two-layer shell ensures you stay dry as you slice turns through the snow, and the low rise and articulated knees mean you can ski hard without any sort of restriction.
- Stretchy shell uses a waterproof breathable HyVent 2L membrane and fully taped seams to ensure moisture protection
- Recycled polyester taffeta lining dries quickly and slides on over your baselayer
- A perfect amount of synthetic Heatseeker insulation (60g) adds a bit of warmth without overdoing it during long runs back to the base area
- Belt loops and adjustable hook-and-loop tabs ensure the pant doesn't fall down when you practice your Gelande skills
- StretchVent leg gaiters with gripper elastic fit over ski boots but also feature vents as part of the Chimney Venting system
- Chimney Venting system draws air in from the ankles and channels it over your legs and out the zippered mesh side thigh vents for ultimate cooling on the mountain
- Feminine, low-rise fit and articulated knees match your ski stance so your pants don't catch on your knees when you lay into your turns
- Reinforced cuffs withstand kicks from ski edges and gravel parking lot strolls
- Zip hand pockets and a cargo pocket hold on-mountain necessities without letting moisture into your inner layers
- Pants lock with compatible jackets from The North Face (sold separately) for a seamless barrier against deep snow

My wife absolutely loves these ski pants. They are flattering, comfortable, and provide just enough insulation for a day on the slopes or in the backcountry.

I searched all over to find turquois ski pants with a great figure flattering fit as well as comfort and warmth. I have a black ski jacket and I love this color and the way they look with the jacket. I read from the reviews that these pants had a figure flattering fit rather than the somewhat baggy look of other ski pants. I am totally pleased with the way they fit. I was somewhat between size medium and size small. I am glad that I went with the small as they are snug at the waste and nice and slim through the hips and thighs. The mediums would have been too big. I am 5'6" and 135 pounds with a narrow waist. I bought these at the end of the season so as far as warmth and comfort I based my decision totally on the other reviews and The North Face reputation. I got a great price but will have to wait until next season to try them out on the slopes. I have to say the color and womanly fit are fabulous.
Perfect ski pant.

I was looking for an insulated pant that kept me warm, enabled me to dump heat after a few mogul runs, and fit me better than my son's old ski pants. The Freedom pant met those criteria and hasn't disappointed me yet. The "short" is still too long on my 5'2" body, at least when I'm wearing street shoes. Fine, however, once my ski boots are on and I'm on my skis. On cold (single digit) days, a pair of light tights/baselayer adds just enough extra warmth to keep me going through the day.
great pants

This pant is perfect! Fits great, attravtive woman design, and super warm. Cleans great as well.....my son spilt hot chocolate on them while we were sleading and it literally disappeared with a swipe of my glove. I now own them in white and turquoise blue.

I don't down hill ski, I use these pants for snow shoeing and walking my dog. They are great! I currently live in Alaska. They have come in quite handy for walking the dog. They fit well, aren't binding, and keep me very warm while out in minus degree temps. I've used other Ski pants in the past. These are by far the best!
My favorite ski pants

I bought my first pair of ski pants on sale and they just didn't fit. I got tired of wearing a belt and having snow get in my pants so I bought a pair of TNF LRBC pants and love them! If I had the money I would own these in several colors. The fit is great, very comfy and attractive. They also offer long and short lengths so there is a size for everyone. I never need to wear a belt with these because they have convenient velcro adjusters at the waist.
