Fire Road Boa Trail Running Shoe - Women's

If you find that most of your trail runs are actually on fire roads and ATV trails, then pull on The North Face Women's Fire Road Boa Trail Running Shoes. These lightweight, low-profile running shoes excel on mildly technical topography. The North Face put together elements of a road shoe, such as flex and responsiveness, with the control and stability you find in a trail shoe to create the Fire Roads. A heel pad provides cushioning and reduces overpronation while the forefoot Snake Plate protects your sole from bruising on rocks. The lugged outsole moves you over rocky and muddy terrain alike and Boa lacing makes getting the right fit and snugness a cinch.

Bottom Line: The North Face Fire Road Boa Trail Running Shoes combine elements of road runners and trail runners to come up with the ideal shoe for back roads and mellow trails.

Can anyone recommend a walking/hiking/sailing/water shoe that is comfortable. We are going sailing for 2wks BVI and I want to take a all around shoe. Comfort and traction important! Thanks for any help.

Look at The North Face Women’s Ultra 104 or 105 GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe. They are SUPER waterproof and yet still allow your feet to breathe a bit... magic? I dunno, but I use em to hike, train run (been through plenty of wet stuff), out camping- you name it. I think you'll be very happy with them.

extremely comfortable, breathes fantastically, the lacing system took some getting used to... but now i love it. it doesn't tighten as much in the toe area as it does up towards where the laces would be, but it certainly works.

Look at the New Balance 1224... They provide awesome support (anti pronation) and a thicker sole near the heel.

Runner-In-Training

By:
April 8, 2008

These shoes are very comfortable and they look really cool...I love the colors! I am a runner-in-training and these shoes are great on road and treadmills. Because the sole on this shoe is flatter than others, I am less likely to run on my toes.

got this pair at northface outlet at $37.99. Wore them immediately and found super comfort. Super breathable! because I felt cold air at my toes area. Soles are sturdy with arch support! Love this pair especially the great color combination and laceless!! recommended.
