The North Face Women’s Femphonic Audio Jacket fends off the elements, insulates with Heatseeker Eco, and lets you control your music with an external joystick on the cuff. Yes, this is like finding out that unicorns exist. Just plug your iPod into the inner media pocket, stick your ‘phones in your ears, and press the on-sleeve buttons to skip between songs or adjust the volume. Plenty of extra pockets stash the day’s little necessities and internal Lycra cuffs and a powder skirt keep snow from sneaking in. Underarm vent zips provide a little fresh air when you work up a sweat by grooving down the hill--so crank up your finest ‘80s playlist and head out into the storm.
I LOVE this jacket!!! It is pretty warm but I suggest getting a layer for underneath when the weather is really cold. It is amazing in the wind!!!! The ipod connector is really fun and cool. It took me four days to figure out where to plug it in because it didnt come with directions!!! haha
How does this jacket fit? Does it run small or large? Is it short, are the sleeves long? I just got a different Northface ski jacket and i found it was really short at the waist so I'm a little concerned now.

This is the third North Face jacket I have owned and I have loved them all. The number of pockets is great and the one on the sleeve is accessible for sunblock. It is well made and fits me well (extra small, which is hard to find in the stores). It vents better than the last jackets I had because there is no separate liner that blocks the vents. I have stayed warm on colder days.
Yes! I don't listen to music from a portable player except for in my car, and I bought this jacket. I love it and think it is super cute! The only thing is, there is a switchpad on the left arm to change the track number on an ipod, but it's not huge and if you don't mind that, I would definitely purchase this jacket.
I am in love with everything about this jacket. It is exceptionally well made, all of the hardware is very well thought out and placed in inconspicuous places so that it doesn't cramp the style of the jacket. I love the Ipod attachment. They have thought of everything, even a hidden pocket with a sham to clean your sky goggles with! Very comfortable. Fits smaller than some jackets but good length in arms (and I'm 5' 11").
I had to return this jacket (bummers) because it fits super small. I am normally a Med in jackets, but this Med fit more like a smedium. The arms are short and shoulders tight, but the fit around the waist was about a medium. Sizing up fixed the length issue but it was more like and XL in the waist that that point.
