solid ski pants

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I own three pairs of these. fit is really good (loose and unrestricted movement). I am 5'11 and 33 waist - medium is perfect. They are pretty durable, but I wish they had kevlar or something more resistant to cuts on the inside cuffs. Then they would be a 5.

These things are awesome.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs large

I wanted a pant for the every day grind. That is just what I got with these pants. The Hyvent material is durable and keeps warmth in, while keeping water out. The park fit is baggy, yet perfect. Great pant.

Lightweight, dry, but baggy

I was looking for more of a skiing pant and these run baggy through the leg a la snowboarding pants. Doesn't mean they aren't high quality or don't perform well, because they are and do, but not quite the "look" I was going for. Love the colors (I have the light brown with red interior mesh), very flexible, would need leggings during a storm though. Keep up the good work, TNF.

    Great Pants

I really enjoy these guys. Im 6'0" and 200 lbs, or 182cm and 90 kg. I usually wear 34-32 and I got the large. They fit really well, and when I'm flying down the mountain on skis I don't get any chills or anything. I get really hot real quick and hate layering because it means that I have to take things on and off when ever I get inside the lodge. I barely notice they're there they feel like normal pants and I don't notice any overheating. I usually just wear a pair of athletic shorts underneath and throw the pants on and go! Great Decision buy!

      These pants rock

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I just got back from a trip to Alaska and I wore these pants for 4 days straight and they held up really well. I've gone through 5 or 6 snowboard pants and these are my favorite. The red color is a nice looking red and it stands so my buddies can spot me on the mountain easily. The fit is a little on the larger side (I'm 5'10" 170lbs) for a medium and was a little long for a regular but there are these cool straps inside the cargo pockets that you can use to cinch up the bottom of the pants so they don't drag on the ground when walking around. The material is solid and held out any moisture nicely while also keeping me nice and dry inside. I wore my base layer pants underneath and everything fit very comfortably. I spent 3 days on the Alyeska Resort and 1 day going backcountry riding (Chugach Powder Guides rock) and the pants kept the snow out nicely in knee to waist deep pow. The temps were between mid teens to mid 20's and with the base layer pants, these kept me nice and warm. I went a few days w/o the base layer pants and was still comfortable wearing these pants. If I need to get another pair of snow pants, these will definitely be it.

it says these pants are discontinued. so...

it says these pants are discontinued. so are they still in stock and available. If so, I am 5'8 and usually wear a 32-34 will these fit me okay. and Im okay if they sag or would be to big i have suspenders
