Description

Versatility to cope with Mother Nature's fickle behavior.

Designed as a 3-in-1 jacket, The North Face Exertion Triclimate Jacket can be used as a standalone shell, winter jacket, or warm and cozy fleece. Featuring a waterproof and breathable HyVent shell, the Exertion Triclimate Jacket is equally suited for bombing double diamonds or shoveling snow. The midweight removable fleece jacket adds a layer of breathable, insulating warmth, ideal for cool temperatures or layering with the included HyVent shell when arctic cold fronts come through.

The Exertion Triclimate Jacket's versatility allows the wearer to cope with a wide range of conditions and temperatures that are commonplace throughout the winter. Fully taped seams protect the wearer from the intrusion of unwanted precipitation, and underarm vents release extra heat when the wearer or weather warms up. Additional features include an internal media pocket, removable hood, two secure-zip hand pockets (shell and fleece), and self-fabric adjustable cuff tabs.

Great Jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

I've been using this jacket for a few weeks now and it is warm. This jacket is adequately warm with temperatures ranging from 59F to 29F and with light rain . I'm 5'4" and 130lbs, small is slightly large for me. Not a big fan of detachable the hood. If it is really windy I'm not sure if the detachable hood can seal out the wind though.

The Husband Loves it!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs small

I ordered this for my husband for valentines day, it was a great deal! He loves the jacket, The North Face never disappoints. I did go a size up as I always do with North Face for Men's and ordered an XL instead of L. The fit, warmth, and look are great and just as pictured. Every member of our family of 4 has a north Face Jacket, even though the price is a little more then other brands it is definitely with it!

Excellent

Perfect jacket for this frigid Midwest winter.

Very nice jacket

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Jacket is everything advertized, but tight across the back & shoulders for a 'real' man. Should have ordered an X-L for a man who wears a size 44 blazer.

warm warm warm

Nice jacket. Used it for 4 years now. Worn it trolling around the city during the cold winter months and ripping knee deep powder off piste. Great Jacket. I like wearing the fleece liner as a jacket by itself when it get warmer.

thin

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

like Jamil said, the jacket is not thick enough for winter, so I returned it. Not recommended if the winter is brutal where you live. Also, it runs a bit large.

thickness

The jacket was not as heavy or thick as I thought it would be so I returned it, and am trying the Vortex instead. Seems like a good jacket, but won't stand up to a chicago winter
