Touch-screen compatibility is just the start.
Most companies make ski gloves with touch-screen compatibility and end it there, but not The North Face. The Men's Etip Facet Gloves do much more than just let you play with your phone on the lifts. A HyVent insert offers waterproof protection to keep your hands dry in wet weather, and 150g Heatseeker insulation warms the back of your hand while 100g in the palm offers a bit less warmth but more dexterity. A FlashDry lining wicks moisture away from your palm to stay dry from wetness both outside and inside the glove. But U|R Powered Pittards' leather palm deserves a huge shoutout for allowing touchscreen compatibility and being surprisingly durable.
The 5 Dimensional Fit means The North Face built this glove from the inside out to give your hand a consistent size, and Radiametric Articulation sets the glove in your hand's natural position for all-day comfort at the resort. A fourchette-box finger construction ensures your digits remain nice and toasty in colder temperatures. You can remove the Wrist Oven leash to insert a handwarmer on downright frigid days.

Excellent All-Around Glove
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Let me start by saying I love these gloves.
They fit very true to size. I was right on the line between a large and an XL on the sizing chart and the Large glove fits me perfectly.
The shape and feel is comfortable for a cold-weather glove and they are as waterproof as you are going to find.
The touchscreen compatibility is excellent. I've tried numerous pairs of gloves from different manufacturers and none of them have been anywhere near as accurate as these. I also like that every finger is touchscreen compatible.
These gloves do a great job of preventing snow from entering through the cuffs thanks to a drawstring wrist gaiter and a strap across the wrist.
Fairly lightweight for the amount of heat-retention they provide I'd recommend this glove for any light-to-medium intensity outdoor exercise from Alpine skiing to backyard snowball fights.
