These gloves will do you up to about -10'C, while wearing the liner. They keep your hands dry, comfortable and warm however, the tightening strap broke within wearing 20 times. However, North Face has a lifetime warranty on their equipment and products so I got a replacement.

I love the liners in these gloves. I wear them daily and they work great on my iphone. I looked at buying these at Dick's and they wanted $75.00. Got them here at half the price.

Hi do these gloves keep you hands dry? Do they repel water/melting snow?

They keep your hands very dry. I used them when I was skiing waist deep pow and my hands were completely dry.

I've had these for over a year, and they make a great primary glove. I use the liners when the weather gets cool, and the fingertips are sensitive enough to operate my iPhone and iPad without too much difficulty; they are a bit broad, so precision can be an issue...more than accurate enough to text and check emails. The outer liner is also great for wet/snowy weather. Highly recommend.

So I bought these and finally got to use them last weekend, The gloves combined with the liners are extremely warm, much warmer than my other winter gloves. When I first put them on they were somewhat rigid and stuff but after a couple of hours of use that was notably better so I wouldn't even worry about it past day 1 or 2.

The only thing I'm concerned about it how durable the eTip liners will be - brand new, just out of bag they looked a bit tattered and worn.

Also the eTip itself - it does work but you have to twist the finger tip a bit to use your phone / device successfully. They could have designed the tips better - if the people designing the product got out on the slopes and used the eTips in real life I think they could put the finishing touches on the eTips and make them work REALLY well and not just well.

I was pretty psyched about the Etip Facet Liners and being able to use my iPhone. However, the Etip's did not fit my fingers well because they were oversize and the liners lacked any gripping surfaces, which made it difficult to hold the phone. I'll be sticking with the Serius version of the etip liner. Also, both the liner and glove guantlet were short, leaving gaps between my jersey and the jacket, respectively. The glove itself insulated well and appears durable, but these were not the glove for me. If your iPhone is in a grippy case, they may work for you.
