The North Face El Cap Peak ¼-Zip Shirt is all about 100% recycled Polartec Power Dry material. This means your fleece wicks sweat and does all that good, warm-fleecy stuff, and it means less material going to the landfill-graveyard. Underarm gussets increase mobility when you climb, and odor-inhibiting properties help cut down on the stink. Thumb-holes on the sleeves reduce bunching when you layer the El Cap under your ski jacket.
Bottom Line: Slow the land-fill.

This is a great under layer for any athletic situation. Also, stylish enough to wear casually.

I am an athletic build 6'3", 185 and am stuck between a medium and large for different types of shirts. If i want a closer fit to wear with a t-shirt underneath, would a medium work? Are the sleeves on the longer side?

polartec powerdry material is more of a smooth fabric and isn't fuzzy at all. It's great when worn under layers as it retains heat and dries quickly, but if you're looking for warm fuzzy stuff i recommend the tka 100 1/4 zip
