Downgrade that downpour.
There's no need to worry about Mother Nature's mood swings when you have The North Face's Downspout Women's Jacket. Not only is it waterproof, but with The North Face's HyVent breathable membrane, you won't feel like you're riding in a sauna. And with a hood and an internal media pocket, that hellacious rainstorm you've been dreading just got downgraded to 'no big deal.'
The North Face built the Downspout jacket out of ripstop nylon for both durability and weather protection. But, for a hard riding jacket, that simply wasn't enough. So, The North Face added its proprietary HyVent membrane to the inside of the jacket, effectively adding breathability in spades. Basically, it transports your sweat vapor through the fabric, while keeping rain where it belongs -- outside of the jacket. And since sweat vapor now has a chance to escape, you'll remain comfortable instead of clammy.
The Downspout jacket has a contoured cut, which moves with your body when you're in the cycling position. An elliptical tail hem provides protection from tire-spray, and adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop closures allow you to customize your fit. There's an external zipper pocket on the chest for storing smaller essentials, as well as an internal media pocket, just in case you'd prefer your favorite tunes to the sound of rain drops. And The North Face even added reflective accents to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.
The North Face Downspout Women's Jacket is available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the color TNF Black, Mojto Green, and Sulphur Spring Green.
