When The North Face talks about cold-weather skiing, they mean -20F at Banff in February. Thanks to super-warm 600-fill down, the Women's Destiny Down Jacket meets the demands those days require. You'll wonder why everyone else heads for the lodge as you stay toasty warm inside the Destiny Down Jacket. Pull up the Destiny Down Jacket's insulated hood when the mercury drops out the bottom. A powder skirt blocks snow, and The North Face Destiny puffy's two internal pockets hold goggles and keys. If a winter storm rolls in, pull a weather-resistant shell over this jacket—the Destiny is incredibly warm, but not waterproof.
Bottom Line: It was cold out today? Hmm. I guess with The North Face Destiny Down Jacket, I simply didn't notice.

Bought this for my college student daughter, she has to walk to school and the temp has been in the teens and she said it is so WARMMMMM! Best purchase I've made for a long time (that pleases her)

I normally wear 2 petite in my clothing. I ordered XS and it is perfect. Not too small, but fits just right. Don't plan on needing to wear lots underneath (you won't need to), although I have been able to comfortably.

Hi! I've searched hi& low for a nice reasonably price ankle length down coat for women, but can't seem to find one anywhere. Do you all carry any? I prefer something with a hood also.

These range in length from knee- to full ankle-length and in price from about $150 to about $300, and you pretty much get what you pay for in terms of quality, warmth, and durability. If you really feel like splurging, the Canada Goose Mystique is $625, full ankle-length, Danish down, water-resistant, and lined with real fur.

I adore the warmth and all the features this jacket has to offer. I was impressed with; the pockets- one for goggles, one for personal items (with a little hole for earphones)and two hand pockets, the snow guard around the waist, the zippers on the ends of the sleeves so you can get your glove nice and snug, even the little lens wipe tethered to the pocket. It needs a shell during precip., but overall a nice jacket- well worth it.

This jacket was SUCH a deal. It is by far the warmest jacket I own, and definitely does its job up here in frigid Alaska!

I bought this North Face Destiny Down Jacket as a gift for my sister, and it has a flattering look. She looks great and it is a nice casual piece. I would have to confess it fits a little on the small side. Standard quilted pattern, not too "puffy", just right.
