Denali Thermal Mitten Women's

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

These are the most wonderful mittens that I have had. My hands are always cold and these gloves do the job! I have been wearing them on my runs and took them camping last weekend. I even wore them to bed while camping, because I didn't want to take them off. Highly recommend a pair if you have poor circulation like me!

Great basic mittens

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I ordered these to wear winter running in Wisconsin, but they are so nice I wear them for errands now as well. The fleece is soft and surprisingly warm. My hands stay warm with these mittens alone down to the mid-teens, but colder than that and I start needing glove liners (and maybe even heater packs).

I ordered a large and they fit great (my hand is about 7.25 inches from fingertip to wrist and my wrists are about 6.25 inches in circumference); I have very small wrists, so the elastic at the wrist is perfect for me, but if you have larger wrists, you may find the elastic too tight.

The quality seems good and they held up well to washing; I think they are definitely worth the price. I would definitely recommend these as a nice pair of basic mittens.

Very Poorly constructed Mittens

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Soft and comfy but very poorly constructed. The inside seams are not finished and the fleece on the fingers not caught in the seam where it meets the scuff on the inside so the fleece is literally fraying onto your hand when you take them off. These are definitely going back. Ordered a L, Basic mitten is true to size the elastic around the wrist is for a S and is to tight for comfort. My first pair of North Face gloves, very disappointed.

Soft & fuzzy, not real warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These mittens are soft, fuzzy & stylish but I don't think they're great for cold weather. On days 30 degrees and warmer, not so bad. I actually wear them over my NF gloves for added warmth when shoveling.

They do their job

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these last season and I'm happy with them. They have held together great. I use them for just day to day walking/riding my bike in the winter and they work great. They aren't the warmest in the world, but thats to be expected.

I got the black ones as a gift and overall I'm very happy with them.

soft and a great weight

I use these for skate skiing. As I go every day, I need lots of mittens. These wash well, wear well and are very soft. Good for mid to high 20 deg F under high exertion skiing.
