Description

Lightly insulated spring glove for a few hundred extra park laps before the lifts close for the season.

When spring shows its sunny face, you trade the down mitt for The North Face Crowley Glove and keep taking laps through the park until the snow melts. The Crowley's HyVent membrane and super-breathable FlashDry lining fight moisture from slushy snow and sweaty palms while the low-profile design goes well with your softshell or hoodie.

  • HyVent waterproof breathable membrane keeps wet snow out but also encourages breathability to prevent clammy hands
  • Synthetic Heatseeker (60g) insulation in the backhand provides a heat-holding layer to keep your hand's warmth on the inside during cooler spring days
  • Tough, stretchy Durastretch shell and synthetic suede palm withstand tree smacks, ski edges, and a few seasons of normal wear and tear
  • Soft polyester lining with FlashDry thermal technology features microporous particles in the fibers to encourage the evaporation of moisture in the fabric as well as from your skin, which enables evaporative cooling during hikes
  • The low-profile design features an articulated fit for easy grabs as well as a simple style to wear with your spring skiing hoodie
  • Five Dimensional Fit matches your hand's shape without taking weeks to 'break in'
  • Radiametric Articulation enables easy dexterity when buckling boots or zipping up jackets
  • Hook-and-loop cuff keeps out snow after tumbling down a slushy landing

I wore these for two half days snowboarding in Japan in the Spring. The lines on the palms (grip?) began to peel off almost immediately and continued to do so the whole time I wore them. Worst of all though was they became completely soaked very fast and my hands were freezing the entire time. Definitely not what I expected..

If you're going to buy some I would opt for the larger size if you're on the borderline like I was.

My Uncle is a parapalegic and his hands are always exposed. He needed a glove with a grip and good dextirity to protect his hands from the elements. He says these fit the bill so well he is putting me back in his will. (Don't ask what I initially did as a kid to get kicked out.)

As of right now I only see an order for a couple pairs of mediums. They may take a little while to get up on the site though. Hopefully The North Face has a few more pairs to share and our buyers can grab them up. Please keep checking back!
