I. Love. This. Jacket. Oh my word. It fits my long arms, wide shoulders, and smaller waist, allows for plenty of movement, and has held up AWESOMELY over the last year. (For size comparison, I have a small and I am 5'5" and around 115 pounds). It is way more water resistant than I expected; I have regularly worn this in short downpours and have stayed completely dry, which I was not expecting--bonus! I haven't put it through a regular washing machine yet though, because I'm worried the detergent will ruin this awesome water resistance that I have come to enjoy. The hood is such a nice perk, as so many jackets I looked at missed the mark because they were hoodless.

The only thing about this jacket I sometimes wish was different is that it had a light liner of some sort, but the way it is now, it makes an awesome layering piece. This is my go to jacket for everyday on the go stuff and basic hiking if there are clouds lurking around because I know I can depend on it to keep me dry and a bit warm if needed. I lurve it. Heart it so much! It was worth stalking around for a month or two to snag it at a good price.

My wife has a ton of gear . There are a few pieces that she keeps wearing all the time and this is one of them. It provides a perfect mix of wind resistance, breathability and a touch of warmth. The main body is windstopper (which itself is not very breathable) but the Apex fabric on the sides and back do a great job of blocking some wind and allowing the jacket to breathe.

The cut is great it has a nice length, longer arms (which is great for her) and 2 large pockets to stash just the right amount of gear. Lastly it comes at a price tag that is much less than most other windstopper jackets out there.
