Got this pack right before a week ski trip in Aspen and it was fantastic. It's not huge, but I love that it was low profile enough to not feel in the way on the lift or having on your back all day. Skis strapped on great for hikes as well. I generally kept water, some food, a DSLR camera, skins, and an extra layer and had a bit of room to spare. Solid design. Oh, and it also fits my macbook 15" like a glove for travelling on the plane :)
Very durable pack

Fits a decently "normal" amount of gear. Wears high on the back so you don't really notice it when you ride (plus all of the straps help distribute the weight). I love the look/style and function of this backpack. Ballistic nylon is TOUGH too.

Perfect sidecountry/day pack/resort pack

I bought this bag for the following uses:
- Resort skiing:
I wanted something low profile with hydration and a room for my lunch
I wanted the ability to carry my skis when hiking around in bounds
I wanted room for a shovel/beacon/prob when dropping out of the gates to do some sidecountry
- Backcountry skiing
I wanted a bag that could carry everything for a day trip (safety stuff, skins, lunch, small camera, SPOT, phone, first aid kit, head lamp, multi tool, extra warm shirt)
I wanted to be able to hike with my skis and poles on the bag
Let me just say that this bag covers me 100% in the above categories. I've skied about 15 days with it this year, and had some really long day trips in the backcountry. I really like that I can cinch the bag down tight and tuck the ski carry straps into purpose built zipper pockets when at the resort, and punch it all the way out on day trips. I carry fat powder tele skis on it, and it handles them great. There is a fleece lined pocket that I guess is for a spare pare of goggles or glasses or something, but I find with my shovel and hydration pouch full, the pocket is unusable for that purpose. I instead put my phone in there, and it keeps it dry and scratch free. I could see this bag being a tad small for some people on day trips, but I pack efficiently, and only take exactly what I need (with maybe a beer or in there from time to time).

This pack is the sickest all around pack. For slackcountry/cat-skiing or heli-skiing it is the best. Keeps your avi tools separate from water and sandwich, plus the whole back panel unzips for solid access to your gear at the bottom, middle and top of the pack.

This is my go-to inbounds pack. It is small but has just enough room, and the best part about it is the firm panel that fits right against your back- you can shove a ton of stuff in it without feeling bulges or being uncomfortable. The panel also allows for quick access to your gear, and there is a separate zipper compartment for shovel and probe. Its got a great A-frame carry system that hangs great with skis, making hiking with skis on your back really comfortable.
