No sitting around indoors for you.

What's a non-skier to do on a mountain vacation? • DriLex fleece lining in the collar and tongue adds extra warmth
  • Compression-molded EVA midsole cushions every step
  • WinterGrip outsole provides sure footing on slick surfaces
  • D-ring serves as attachment point for gaiters

I get cold feet really fast during the winter, but with these boots they kept my feet really warm. They look great with snow pants or just regular jeans and feel nice.

i have not had the chance to wear these in the snow yet, or test their durability over time, but am quite impressed with the comfort and warmth i've noticed so far. as others have pointed out, they are sized too small. i normally order a half size up for boots in general to allow for thick socks, but i had to exchange these for a larger pair. i have a foot size 7.5, but in these, i had to get a size 8.5. no big deal though. also, yes, they are stiff, but i think this is a good thing. ankle support is importand when you are snowshoeing, and that's what i plan to use these for. to make up for the stiffness, the toes are rounded more than usual to make walking easier and this feature seems to work well.

Helpful info regarding "sizing up". Thanks Johanna! :0)

These boots have a significant amount of ankle support and padding and provide great stability for hiking. They're incredibly warm and resilient but are also useful in warmer conditions.
They are stiff, but I find this to be a good thing - they require some breaking in, but ankle support is critical and often overlooked in boots. It may take some getting used to, but well worth it!

Being a teenage girl, I love the cute color and style of these boots. I'm from New Hampshire and this winter I wore them ice fishing. They are really comfortable and warm. My feet did not get the slightest bit cold after 5 hours of standing on ice!
I did get one size up from my regular shoe size since they're boots. I definitely recommend them :)

Are these boots warm enough for a child...

Are these boots warm enough for a child to be able to play outside

It depends on where you are living and how the circulation is on the child's feet. If they live in a winter climate like MN this may not be the best boot for a younger child, but if the winter climate hovers around the 15-20 degrees and above this boot would be just fine and work well in the climate that they are in.

for a child I always recommend the type of boots that have the removable liner, I'm not sure if its Kamik or sorel that has the inner boot liner that you can take out and dry out. either that or buy boot dryers.

I'm usually a 5.5 - 6.0. Being winter boots that might be worn w/ thicker socks, I ordered a 6. Ouch!! With just regular socks they were sooooo tight!! And the stiffness is very true too... you almost walk like a penguin. Very warm though, that's probably the only +. I'm going to return these in exchange for The North Face McMurdo II. They seem to have very positive reviews for prior year models, so hopefully I will get lucky w/ them!

These boots are about as stiff as professional figure skates. For me this was too stiff. I'm sure you could break them in and they would be good. They made my feet look large, and at 5'2" with little 6.5 feet I didn't really like this. Overall it was difficult to walk because they were so stiff and seemed so large on my feet. They are warm as heck though!

I wore these boots twice in the snow and they are really comfortable and toasty warm. However, I had to send them back after wearing only two times, because the top hook broke off. I feel the laces should be able to be pulled tight and the hooks at the top should hold the laces in place. In this case, it just broke off. I am getting another pair though, because they are just the type of boot I've been looking for. I hope the next pair is better.
