    Not just some glorified bookbag.

Don't confuse The North Face Casimir 27 for one of those techy-looking outdoorsy backpacks that's really just a fancy-looking bookbag in disguise. This is a serious technical daypack. The North Face's OPTIFIT-F technology ensures a perfect fit for miles in rugged terrain, and tough nylon ripstop provides season after season of  use. Large hipbelt pockets provide easy access to stuff that you need in a hurry, and reflective elements make you more visible at night.

    Good for climbing

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Used for climbing mutli-pitch, traveling carry on, fishing gear pack, hiking daypack, and even a bit of school. The only complaint I have is the chest strap started to come unstitched after 7 or 8 months of constant use. The bag has a very long profile that is great for stacking or stuffing things in, and an inner pocket that basically falls out and away from the main storage area of the pack.
