There is perhaps nothing more characteristic of the wintertime in Indiana than its freezing temperatures and huge gusts of wind. While the winter season has just begun, I still find myself very warm when I wear the jacket. And when I wear my hat and gloves, I can walk around outside quite comfortably. I have also received tons of compliments about how the jacket looks as well--perhaps finally a good merger of form and function.

If the cost is not too prohibitive, then I would definitely suggest this jacket to you!

- I wore it skiing the other day, it was 10 degrees and windy as heck (I had forgotten my normal ski jacket at home) and this jacket held up unbelievable!

I just got this jacket and it is awesome. I am about 6' and weight around 160 and a medium fits me perfectly.

Got this bad boy for X-mas and its a great jacket, stops the wind chills and still breathes, without making it look like im about to go snowboarding. I get compliments on it everyday, i will add more after i get it up to Tahoe.

I bought this jacket for my fiance as a Christmas gift. I knew he would love it because he hates bulky coats. I knew the insulation in this coat would keep him warm all Winter and will be durable enough to last many more. This jacket is stylish enough to wear to a ball game or out to a fine restaurant. My bf has this jacket c.ford.jr1273600 and he gets mega complements to the umpth power all the time. He is soooOOOOOooooOOOOoooOOO warm in this even in Alaska (the last frontier) we go to Denali all the time to play with the polar bears and they love it too. In green of course.

This coat has it all: Good looking design, extremely comfortable, plenty of pockets, very warm but not too warm, and heavy. I get compliments all the time on this coat. What's awesome is it can be worn in casual or nicer settings. North Face did a great job on this coat and I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm not really sure how to start and it's kinda hard to see my computer screen through these tears of happiness I have at the moment. I also scooped this miracle of the winter gods up at a slashed price as well. This jacket is the best thing that has ever happened to me. When i slowly slid it on over my skin I couldn't believe my senses were so stimulated because this jacket fit perfect and was so extremely comfortable. I then proceeded to open the pockets to check out the swagger factor on this jacket. I couldn't find any kind of jankyness anywhere on this jacket but what i did find, what i did find in these pockets was awesomeness, dopeness, and fulfillment as a person and has now been added to my life making me a better person on the way. The style is so sick and I am a little disappointed that the pic they have of it does it no justice it's soo much more radical than that. First, it isn't nearly as puffy as it looks in that pic nor as thick but it is an incredibly warm jacket. The symbols or leather adds really don't stand out like it appears they do in the pic but instead they are in stealth hidden/blending in mode. I went with one size larger than normal because the wool fit better that way, okay.....don't just me. Anyways if you haven't gotten the point so far I love this jacket and think that everyone and their pets should own this jacket!!
