Breathable polyester fleece provides the warmth, while stretchy elastane panels under the arms and at the lower back stretch and move with you when you hit your stride. UPF 30 throughout blocks the sun and bamboo carbon within the moisture-wicking panels fights funk. As an underlayer or active top, nothing beats the thumb holes; they keep the sleeves in place.

Great Midweight Layer

This lightweight fleece makes a great mid layer in cold climates, and a good outer layer in mild conditions. I think it would also serve as a expedition baselayer as well. Fits me true to size, I'm 5'9" 160lb, and the medium fits perfect.

This fleece is great for winter sports. I've used it for running and cross country skiing with just a base layer underneath in about 20-40 degree weather and it's perfect for both. I really like the thumb holes. If it's colder out, this is great for layering underneath a heavier jacket as well. the chest pocket is big enough for a small mp3 player.
The one thing to look out for is its cut a bit on the slim side so if you are unsure of what size to order, get a size up.
