The North Face Bones Beanie - 2006 BCS

This is a good, basic beanie that kept me warm in snowy conditions. The interior fleece headband is comfortable and I didn't really have to think about the hat once I put it on. Acrylic is not the most long-wearing fabric and I would prefer natural fibers versus fake, but this is still a nice warm hat.

A beanie is a beanie is a beanie, right? Well, that's the way I feel. I mean, there's just not that much to them. But this one stands out from the pack as being "just right" in all the ways that count. It's not too big or too small. It's not too loose or too tight. It's not itchy. It's pretty much indestructible. It's warm, wind-resistant. And it looks good too.

This hat is the only hat I do not need to tell my son to put on when it is cold outside. He likes the look and he said it keeps him warm!!!!

i love this beanie. pretty warm, fits great. however, the material is starting to pill a little.

I bought the North Face Beanies for my nephews and they told me that the beanies are so awesome - They are both snowboarders in Alaska and said they are great. Loved the fleece lining, very warm, comfortable & cool style. Great job gang! Great service!

I specifically ordered this hat to go with my North Face Brownie Gotham Jacket. When I got the hat and unwrapped it and compared it to the color of my jacket, it became obvious that adder brown really means olive green. I am SO disappointed. I emailed the company and had no response. On the up side, shipping was fast, as always. My head is still cold...not smiling.

My head is big, and I'm not ashamed... and this is the first hat that fits over my ears, sweet.

I love this hat and got them in many colors they are so warm and perfect to go over your ears and keep you very warm in cold weather I never had a hat so perfect as this one.

It's warm. It's kind of boring. There's an inside fleece-y kind of hat band that's comfortable and extra warm. I like it.

This beanie fits nice and sleek and when it gets wet it dries out quickly. The inner fleece band is a nice feature that adds to the overall comfort. Very warm and breathable.

Must have been an awesome beanie because I bought it for my son and he never took it off!

I've enjoyed this beanie a lot since I purchased it. I particularly like the fleece-lined interior, but I would have liked it to be another half inch or more longer to cover my ears entirely. But it's a great beanie nonetheless, and I know I will enjoy it for years to come.

Warm, comfortable, and the inside doesn't itch the nogin.

This is a great hat that will keep you very warm. There is a nice layer around the ears for extra warmth as well.

I just returned home to Mobile, AL from Beaver Creek, CO. The North Face Beanie was perfect for my ski trip. As a beginner the hat stayed on as I rolled down the mountain and kept me warm in the cold weather!! The hat is great for anyone!

I am quite impressed with this beanie, very nice colors, and it did wonders for keeping my head warm, and adding a little style to the ride.

Very warm and doesn't leave lines on your forehead thanks to the fleece lining. Only downside is might be a little snug if you have a big noggin'.

I love it. I have huge curly long hair that stands out strongly. This model beannie, of which i have lots in all colors, somehow manages to hold down the hair on the sides, all the way down over my ears, wiothout pressing hard. Wondrous.

Works great for me and is comfortable and warm enough for all but the coldest days, when I switch to huge shearling/fur hats.

Great hat. I have a large cranium and it fits tight but comfortable. Looks good also. All together a great buy!

Great Hat. It was a little tight and annoying at first but it's the best all weather beanie I have had. My cranium is kind of big so it's a tight fit.

The bones beanie keeps your head warm when it is cool outside but still allows it to breathe so you don't get to hot. The bones beanie was a great purchase and I would recommend it to everyone.

it is a beanie! won't change the world...make my morning coffee any stronger...or save my brain in a fall...but it keeps my head warm...

Not really going to go exclusively into this. It's a hat. It fits, and keeps my head warm. One bit of complaining is in order though. It gets a bit itchy if you start to sweat a bit underneath the hat. Not a big deal though or at least it doesn't really bother me much.

Bought the North Face Bones Beanie as a Christmas present for my wife---my teenage kids think it's the greatest! The wife thinks it's pretty cool too!

I have long hair and do not usually wear hats, but this one is warm w/o being scratchy or annoying. Has windstopping fleece around the forehead and ear area, so you don't get cold or weird marks on your skin.

Great all-round beanie. Warm and soft most all of the time. My only warning is that it tends to hold a bunch of sweat which can get rather cold on your head after the sun goes down.

Very warm hat. The fleece keeps your ears warm. Very breathable. As a bonus it is a vary nice looking hat. Is a great hat for the outdoors and I recommend it to everyone.

Fit is a little snug on a large melon, but the fleece is warm and the acrylic blocks wind better than anticipated.
