The North Face Blue Kazoo is a toasty three-season sleeping bag specifically designed for women.

The North Face Women's Blue Kazoo is a 15-degree, three season sleeping bag cut specifically to fit the female form—no more “too much material here, not enough material there.” This Blue Kazoo Sleeping Bag is not only shorter than the men's version, but is also roomier around the hips and more snug around the shoulders to better fit a woman's body. A full-length draft tube, a chest-level heat trap, a vaulted footbox work together to maximize the 600+ powder down's insulation capacity. The ripstop Shadowlite shell breathes well and has a DWR finish to protect the goose down inside. The North Face included a soft & breathable silken lining for pleasant dreams, and a head-level watch pocket so you wake up in time for that first ascent. All pull tabs and cords are easy to grab, color-coded, and glow in the dark for convenient adjustment, day or night.

might be a silly question but when it says 3 season it fall, winter, spring or sring, summer, fall???

No worries. You would be surprised at how silly some of the questions can actually get. The three seasons are spring, summer and fall, and a bag rated @ 15 degrees is a good choice for a nice wide variety of conditions.

Now, if you ask me why your mom won't buy it for you, that would qualify as silly.

I'm confused. What do all the degree...

I'm confused. What do all the degree markings mean?

Its the temperature down to which a person can survive the night in a particular bag. Most are based on reasonable survival measurements for a person wearing a single layer of long underwear. Some, like Marmot and Western Mountaineering, are based on comfort which means their bags, for the same degree, would likely be considerably warmer.

Worth Every Penny!

My wife and I got the mens and womans of these with opposite zippers so they can be zipped together. The mens is a regular and the womans is a long. Works great for those nights it gets colder! My wife loves the womans because it gives her more room where I don't need it. They Compress to the size of a nalgene bottle, but extremely warm, great for a 3 season bag. I recommended these bags to my parents and they have not regretted the purchase. Would highly recommend to any couple or single.

The North Face Blue Kazoo Women's Sleepingbag: 15 Degree Down

I got this bag for my wife and she loved it. The first night out she got cold in the bag. The second night she was sold, she figured out how to use the draft collar and she stayed super toasty. Her feet stayed supper warm since in womans bags they add more down around the feet. I would highly recommend this bag.

What is the zipper configuration for this...

What is the zipper configuration for this bag? Full length? Two-way?

Actually I went ahead and bought the bag and it is 3/4 length and two-way.

Women Recommends

Very comfortable for a petite frame. Definitely lives up to specs about cut fitting a female form. I have yet to use it in real cold or wet weather conditions. Imagine it will be more than suitable. Stuff sack packs it nice and small. Pretty lightweight. I've never gone wrong with The North Face. This one has lived up to my expectations.
