I'm a size 33/34, which is on the border of the medium and large sizes. Can anyone tell me if these pants run large or small and how much they will cinch down? Any advice would be great!

Hey,

I would suggest medium then. I'd rather have them just a tad bigger and be able to adjust that rather than too tight and not be able to do anything about it.

Don't really understand all the negative reviews, these actaully fit really well on me (5'10, 175, 33W). Great range of motion for climbing, great fit with a harness and the cinch cords are an awesome touch for when my shoes are on and I don't want them catching on my heels. One star off because the cinch cords could use a pocket or something to stow the slack. They just kind of hang loose which hasn't been a problem yet but could be if they snag a branch or something someday. Plus these look great as an everyday pant. Got em in grey and I wear them to work, going out and they're happy everywhere

I'm a size 37 in the waist. A 38 is too big and a 36 too small. I wish manufacturers would consider those of us in this section of no-man's land. This seems like a fine product, but I had to return it because it was too big in the waist. Service was great.

Good material, only problem is there is way too much of it. I got a M and I'm usually pretty tight in TNF pants but I felt like I was about to get my five-finger discount on in the local grocery store with this baginess.

I really wanted to like these. Very few companies make a double knee climbing pant these days, but the fabric felt clammy and they have a ridiculous metal zipper on the rear. Perhaps there's some enclave of climbing fashionistas in Williamsburg that wouldn't mind, but it makes no sense. It'll unnecessarily wear on your harness and grind in an offwidth. Weird planning, TNF.
