Great All-Around Bag

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've lugged this bag around with me for about a year, and I don't have a single complaint. It hardly shows any signs of wear, and I've had probably 20lbs of books in it the entire time. It's a great backpack for day hikes and skiing too, with its stowable waist strap and chest strap. I'm pretty abusive on my backpacks, and considering how well it has held up so far, I expect it to last 5 years at least. A great investment.

Perfect bag!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been looking for a bag big enough to use as a weekend bag as well as an all around everyday use bag. Through tireless searches and about to give up, I found this gem. It's the absolute perfect weekend bag, holds my 15" MacBook Pro with ease as well as all my clothes and room for an extra pair of shoes. It's a great bag! Perfect for day trips, school, work, and a weekend get away.

Not going to speak about the construction of the bag (great by the way), not going to mention the fabric is heavy duty and padding in all the right places. Instead I'll just say, let's face it, it's The North Face, wouldn't expect anything less than perfect.
