For car campers or those who can't stand the cramped confines of a traditional mummy bag, the roomy fit of The North Face 20-Degree Big B Sleeping Bag lets you stretch out from Spring to Fall. The North Face stuffed the Big B with Climashield HL synthetic fill that insulates even when wet. When it gets warm, zip the bag open and use it like a blanket. A full-length draft tube stops cold air from coming through the zipper, and the brushed tricot footbox features a footwarmer sleeve for chilly feet.

Bottom Line: Sprawl to your heart's content.

At last... a good fit

By:

At last, a bag designed for the bigger guys. Very well made, compacts nicely, and not too heavy. Just got back from a week at 7400 ft, and it proved to be fantastic. After years of the mummy "cocoons", I finally found the right bag. At 6'4" and 245lbs, there's a lot of happiness here; plenty of foot room, wide enough at the shoulders and hips, and the hand & foot warmer/liners are a really nice touch. Excellent value for the money, and highly recommended.

great bag for 3 seasons

By:
January 2, 2009

I"m 6'4'', 260 lbs. This bag has plenty of room for me to move around and stay warm. I love the foot vents as I start the night hot, then zip up later. The inside is very soft to the skin. I have used it over 10 nights in Michigan, a few nights getting down to 32 deg F. The bag compresses well for a synthetic. big guys this is your bag.
