Comfy - No Rubbing

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I really like these sandals. They are super comfy. I have really skinny feet, so a lot of sandals rub my toes and the top of my foot, but these don't. Love them.

I have a pair of these in white and black and I love them. The ones I got (a couple years ago) have the straps a little closer to the toes than most flip flops and I really like that. Are the newer ones built the same way?

cute and comfy

These are truly some of the most comfortable flip-flops i have ever had. I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be with the egg-crate midsole. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I found them to be true to size. I wear a size 6 and that is what I bought in these and they fit perfect. If you have a high instep I don't think these would work.

These sandals are pretty durable. However, I have a high-profile foot and the straps were tight at first until I broke them in, but it was a pain in the butt at first. If you have a flat foot, these sandals will be comfy right off the bat.

Great Shoes!!!!!!

My husband sent these to me while I was deployed to Iraq in 2007 and I wore them while going to the shower tent from my sleep tent on the big gravel rocks. Felt amazing. When I came home I continued to wear them ALL the time and they just finally broke last night. About to order another couple of pairs!!!!!

Like others have said, they are pretty wide, but also short. I wear a 7.5 - 8 and the 8 is just right, but if you are a solid 8 to 8.5 your heels might hang off a bit... plenty of room everywhere else though and super comfy. I love that the brown ones have a brown foot bed, instead of black, because I have been looking for flip flops to match outfits when I'm not wearing any black. Especially on sale, these are a sweet deal!

Nice wide straps, comfortable, don't think there will be any rubbing if these get dirty or wet. The soles feel great!

All available sizes are listed in the 'select options' drop-down menu above.

How washable are the pink and blue ones?...

How washable are the pink and blue ones? Do they get dirty pretty easy when camping?

Responded on

Very washable, even for an on-the-spot spot cleaning. The Hypalon material is slick and sheds any mud or dirt away and can take a lot of abuse. It is kind of like a tarpuline material, non-porous and durable.

Great Sandals

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. Very comfortable and great warranty to help back a great product. Worth the purchase.

Puts most other flip-flops to shame

This is a great flip-flop all around - very comfortable egg crate footbed, non-chafing straps that are just fitted enough, and very sturdy (more shoe-like) soles. The only point I would make is that I don't feel they run small at all - in fact, I would say they run a bit long. As others have mentioned, I agree they run a little wide as well, but since I have wide feet, that suits me just fine. I average a 9 in most shoes, and the 9 in these flip-flops is ok but a tiny bit long - but I'd also say it depends on how you like your flip-flops to "fit". Regardless, this is a must-have flip-flop!

These flip flop are so comfortable, they feel like you're floating. I would buy another pair.

The North Face Base Camp Flip-Flop - Women's

I wear an 8 and ordered an 8, but I found the shoe was wide in all directions. Comfortable, though.

Do these flip flops run true to size?

Do these flip flops run true to size?

A U.S. size 7 is a EU 38, UK 5.5 and 24cm. A U.S. 5 is 36 EU, 3.5 UK and 22cm. You can fill in the gaps with the rest of the sizes if you follow this pattern. As a general rule of thumb though with flip flops is to buy a 1/2 to a whole size bigger to have your entire foot covered so your toes and heels aren't on the edges. So no need really to break out the measuring or put too much thought into it, flip flops don't need to be fitted or fit "true to size".
