Base camp doesn't have to be far from home.

Don't stress about the name of The North Face Women's Base Camp Boot because you're not expected to give up a city glam or urban casual in order to sport it. The Base Camp Boot is just as likely to be your go-to boot for the daily commute than for stomping around a campsite.
  • Hydroseal waterproof membrane combined with the durable, PU-coated upper is how moisture stays out of the boot
  • Durable rubber outsole helps you maintain your footing on slippery surfaces
  • ecoOrthoLite footbed is compression-molded to maintain shape in order to provide long-term support and comfort
  • Dual pull tabs help ease the slip-on process

Great boots!

I've had these for several weeks now and have worn them in rain and light snow. I've worn them on long walks with my dog and to high school football games. They are both comfortable & stylish - I've received many compliments on them. The lining keeps my feet perfectly warm. I LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Cute boots, but not great quality

I LOVED these boots when I bought them in June 2011 - after an exceptionally rainy summer in Edmonton (Canada), I was glad to find a super cute pair of rain boots. Unfortunately, they didn't hold up that well. I wore them for most of the winter that year (October 2011 - Feburary 2012), but by mid-February (after just 8 months of owning them, and using them mostly to walk around in the city), the soles had significantly started delaminating on both boots at the heels. Both boots were leaking, and I could feel wetness through the boots even on days that were just spitting rain. A North Face outlet exchanged my boots for a new pair in late February 2012, but I can already feel these new ones start to leak again. They're really cute, and they might hold up if you only wore them on the slushiest/rainiest days of the year, but everyday use during a Canadian urban winter proved too much for them. Hopefully The North Face will figure out a way to improve them, because I would definitely buy them again if they didn't leak. They kept my feet nice and warm in the winter (albeit wet), and just a tiny bit too hot in the summer when it rained.
