Comfortable

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit:Runs large

I bought these for my roommate for Christmas in a size 9 (his regular size), and he said they fit like clown shoes. I turned them in for 8s, and now he is happy as a clam. I don't think he's done much hiking in them yet, but we've gotten quite a bit of snow this year and he seems happy walking around the city, and unworried about some of the huge puddles of water that accumulate at street corners.

Great casual boot for warmth around town

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs large
  • Height: 6'
    Weight: 209 lbs
    Size Purchased: 10.5

I picked up these boots for my recent ski trip. Being from southern Louisiana I don't have much in the way of warm and waterproof footwear. I didn't want to wear my clunky hiking boots around town so I bought a pair of these. They handled the cold and ice covered roads very well. Aside from that they looked great with jeans. They come with brown and blue laces, personally I think the blue laces are necessary for a bit of contrast. Pick these up if you need a warm casual boot for around town, you'll be surprised at how light and comfortable they are!

Also, they run about a half size large. I could wear a medium weight sock with them comfortably when sized down by a half size.

2nd time purchasing!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I love these boots! 2nd time purchasing them because I wore my first pair out after wearing them just about everyday, through heavy use. Super comfortable and the look only gets better with age. I suggest a leather waterproofer/conditioner to help maintain waterproof-ness and longevity. (http://www.backcountry.com/nikwax-creme-waterproofing-wax-for-leather?s=a).
Pretty true to size fit too. I'm right around 8.5/9 and I get the 8.5 in these for a good, snug fit.

Awesome Boot

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

Did some hiking in New Zealand during the winter, and wore the boot to summit a mountain in a foot of snow, ice, and mud. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this boot blew my expectations out of the water. I only wore one layer of socks, and my feet were warm and dry the entire time. I've had my pair for almost a year, and after breaking them in, they are some of my most comfortable shoes. Would highly recommend. Whether it's just a casual outing, or hiking in any extreme weather conditions, this boot will get the job done.

A nice, light-weight boot

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'6"
    Weight: 140 lbs
    Size Purchased: 8

I got these boots for a trip I am taking to Europe this winter. I've been wearing them to work to wear them in and have been very happy with them so far. They are weigh less than I thought they would, which should be great when used for walking around all day for two weeks.
I've worn them in the rain twice and they kept my feet dry so far.
The fit seems pretty good, but I bought them a little big so that I could wear them with thick wool socks.

winter boots?

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

way over-priced. you can get quality work/snow leather boots for the same price and NOT made in China. They are thin, glued together (no stitches), leather scuff very easily like suede.
