It's entirely possible that, while wearing The North Face Badwater Mullet Hat, you may be mistaken for a member of the French Foreign Legion. One thing you will not be mistaken for, however, is a greenhorn tourist who isn't prepared for the sun. This polyester, vented hat features a terry sweatband to keep the salt out of your eyes while you snap wildlife photos, and a removable sun flap gives you total shade control when the sun's beating down.

I'd like to find a hat that keeps the glare from the sky/sun behind me off the inside of my sunglasses. Has anyone tried this hat or similar style hats with sunglasses and can tell me if it extends far enough forward to block the light? I wear large polarized glasses for fly fishing and I'm constantly putting my hands up to the side of my glasses to block the glare.

Matt, try getting a pair of sunglasses that have an anti-reflective coating on the inside of the lens...
