    For winter semester.

Modern technology and vintage vibes make The North Face Men's Back-To-Berkeley Redux Shoe the perfect choice for this winter. A HydroSeal membrane and fully taped seams equip this shoe with reliable waterproof breathable protection, while PrimaLoft Silver Eco uses partially-recycled insulation for warmth. The suede leather upper gives a retro look, as well as extra wet-weather protection. OrthoLite's ReBound footbed has a surprising amount of cush for how thin it is, and there's a compression-molded EVA midsole for stability. The North Face's Winter Grip rubber sole features temperature-sensitive IcePick lugs that keep a good grip in frigid temperatures.

    I love it!

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 12

    Very comfortable,
Fit directrly to size (and to my foot, that important)).
I think it will be anougth warm for our siberian winter.
The insole is soft, and orthopedical, the outsole will not slip.

    Они прекрасны!
Здорово сидят на ноге, достаточно теплые на вид для сибирской зимы, стелька в меру мягкая, внутри ноге удобно (у меня плоскостопие, это важно). Подошва "зацепистая", на льду скользить не будут.

    Not for looks

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 12

The shoe is overall built well. Super comfortable and waterproof but much bulkier than it looks in the photos. Not necessarily a casual look. Tall foot bed and lots of cushion makes it look like a low cut hiking boot rather than an athletic shoe. But if you are using just for the durability then it's a great buy.

    disc golf in Oregon

My son plays disc golf in Oregon all winter long!! and these shoes have been wonderful never wet and holding up better than the more popular disc golf shoe

    Very comfortable

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

These are great shoes - very comfortable.
However, the color is brown and on my computer screen, it looked more red. Also - they are a little too warm for my feet, which get hot pretty easily. I was hoping the insulation was thin enough that it wouldn't bother me. If you live in a cold climate, these will be awesome for you. They have great traction from the lugged outsole, but you can't tell the bottoms are so burly from the sides. This is a nice design feature, making them a nicer looking shoe.

Another thing I like that you can't tell fromt he picture is the North Face logo is printed dark so you can't see it unless you are looking for it - thus making the shoe more attractive and less sneakery.

If they were redder and not quite so warm, they'd be keepers.
