The Women's E50 Trail Running Shoes is The North Face's premier traditional-laced running shoe. Incredible support and a women's-specific fit allow you to run further than you ever have before. These technical running shoes support you as you run with X-2 polymer dampening compounds in the heel and forefoot, and with the rear foot compression cage, which provides additional assistance and neutral guidance for mild pronators. The TPU lacing cage and lateral and medial elastic forefoot straps provide upper foot and width comfort respectively, while the midfoot expansion systems allows you to make micro-adjustments on the fly without untying your shoes. The Flight Series E50 Running Shoes also help prevent blisters with a directional heel lining panel that locks your heel in place and with multiple air channels that cool your feet and reduce friction. Whether you run on the street or on the trail, the durable TNF Tenacious Grip rubber outsole provides exceptional traction to keep you going further.

Bottom Line: The North Face's high-performance E50 Women's Trail Running Shoes were designed for the most demanding runners.

Boa Freedom of the Road

Initially, I was all about the BOA version of the Arnuva's, and then I realized that, well, they ate my feet when I wore low socks. I ended up getting a pair of these instead and they are SO much better! My feet are happy because they don't have that dumb dial in the back. The width, size, and cushion of them is excellent... and they are still really lightweight and have held up to distances between 3 and 9 miles on trail and on the road. The blue color is kind of girly, but isn't as bad as some choices out there. All in all, really pleased with them!

great shoe. picture not accurate color

I purchased the blue tide/ spackle gray shoes. These shoes are comfortable, light weight, and supportive. However, the color is different than in the picture. They appear to look bronzy in the picture, but they are really a light blue color. Nevertheless, they are a great overall running shoe.
