The North Face Aqua Bow Falls Board Short - Women's - 2009 BCS

I work as a river guide and I wear these shorts at least once or twice a trip. I'm super hard on my clothes and besides getting a little dirty which is totally my own fault they have held up great! I love the length and the fit. They don't ride up and are not uncomfortable to hike in even when they're wet.

These shorts are great. Spent a week in mexico and
loved wearing them. True to size and held up well.

Great fit and wear in and out of the water. Bought these board shorts for a weekend at a water/amusement park. They were great in and out of the water. Look great with a tankini. Everyone who sees them wants a pair. After reading reviews about the fit being small I ordered a size up. That was a mistake. I am a normall size 10 in jeans and shorts all day long. I ordered a 12, BIG mistake...they were way too big. Backcountry gave wonderful service and shipped a smaller pair out with expidited delivery. They arrived the evening before our trip. The size 10 fit perfectly!

I read some reviews on other sites warning that these shorts are not for "curvy" girls and to order a size up. I love the design so I figured I would give them a shot. They have an odd cut to them. If you are straight legged with a small butt these will be great. If not the fly/hip area just doesn't seem to sit right. They just weren't for me so I returned them.

I wore these board shorts for a week long river trip and they are incredibly sturdy, fit well and look incredible. They show off my curves too! Love 'em!
