The North Face Apex Zeitgeist 3/4 Zip Jacket - Men's - 2006 BCS

I own a number of The North Face products and this one didn't disappoint me. I took the dog for a walk and the temp was in the 50's and the jacket performed wonderfully. It's nice not having to bundle up to stay warm. The only drawback is the weird design of only having one pocket on the right side and not on the left.

I got this pullover shirt/jacket for the cold, rainy Sacramento winters. It is made of a lightweight, stretchy material that keeps out the wind and rain and lets your body breathe. It's perfect for outdoor exercise when you need to keep dry and comfortable. I went for a run yesterday when it was raining sideways, and the winds were gusting to 25mph, and it kept out the elements like a champ. I got home and was dry and comfortable. Love it!

Very versatile. Used it for climbing, biking & running so far. Ideal as an outer layer in fall here in NC. Perfect materials & quality. Will test it as a mid layer in the Alps soon.

I love this shirt. It's the most useful piece of clothing I own, and works well alone in temps from low 70's up to the high 30's. Perfect cool weather rock climbing shirt. I live in it on J Tree winter weekends and on spring boarding days. It looks well and has a great cut for folks with muscular builds.

After purchasing a APEX Wind Shirt earlier in the year, I jumped at the chance to increase my Alpine apparel. The Zeitgeist 3/4 Zip Jacket packs well, and performs as described. The cut through the mid-section adds a nice low profile touch and allows it to fit comfortably under a harness. The 3/4 Zip is suppose to aid in venting but I found this to be little help. However it should be noted that I am normally "hot" while exercising and therefore this is a fairly common thing with me. Warmth and windproof make this an awesome buy.
