Great shorts!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

Rafted the Middle Fork of the Salmon River for 7 days, after day 2, I wore the NF Apex shorts the rest of the trip! They held up great.

I am a big guy (250 +) and these shorts have a great feel and the stretch gives me a great range of motion.

I own five pairs of these shorts, they are that great.

Works well when its warm

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I bought this short for hikes and to try with trail running. It works well with both and I found it works well for the gym and crossfit. The material stretches well and they aren't super long but still fits well for me. The material is also really thin, while still being durable. Works well for getting wet, haven't hit the beach with it yet but imagine it works well there as well.

Great shorts, true to size

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These are great shorts. They are not to baggy or long. I am 5 foot 7 inches and these fit just at the knee. They are not baggy, but fit fairly lean. Great in the water or to wear around town.

Would these shorts be suitable for swimming,...

Would these shorts be suitable for swimming, pool , lake?

Responded on

Yeah, these are made for water sports so you shouldn't have any issue swimming with these. Now they are not going to be as drag resistant as a pair of swim trunks or board shorts but unless you are Michael Phelps you should be fine.
