Cozy as a fleece with the performance of a softshell.
Utilizing its stretch Apex ClimateBlock technology, The North Face built the Women's Apex Bionic Softshell Jacket for protection against cold, windy weather. In addition to blocking out the wind, the Apex Bionic is highly water resistant and still maintains a comfortably level of breathability, making it great for hiking, XC skiing, or runs in cold weather.
A comfortable fleece backing feels nice and smooth against your skin or baselayers, giving you fleece coziness with softshell performance, and a hem cinch cord allows you to find the perfect fit. Internal stretch comfort cuffs keep drafts from snaking up your arms. The North Face made the Apex Bionic with bluesign approved fabric for sustainable textile production.

I'm 5'2" 110 lbs and have been reading reviews on TNF stating that the sleeves tend to run long. Is this really the case? My measurement from back of my neck down my arm to my wrist is about 28". All of my other measurements would indicate that I am a small (I'm a curvy woman). What would be the best fit for me?
I'd recommend going with a size S in this particular jacket, if you plant to do any layering underneath-- it's a great piece, but it doesn't have a ton of stretch to it.
