Mmmm...I don't think so Allen. There's no insulation on this jacket, so you'd be pretty chilly. If you're looking for a warm softshell, check out the North Face Apex Bionic Thermal.

...and that is a very lightweight, fitted wind jacket that works well with a long sleeve shirt in 50 degree temp plus light breezes. Quality construction, adjustable waist with cord adjustment protected inside waistband. Will use often in Oklahoma spring and summer outings.

It is a fine jacket, but I returned it. It was really thin and felt like just a nylon jacket. It is a shiny jacket.

I normally wear an XL but I found the XL in this jacket to be too small. The XXL fits great. It is North Face, what else is there to say?

it's polyester on most of the body and but stretchy on the panels. The jacket is part of TNF's windwear line.

Is a good jacket for cool wet days, but if it is raining harder then you will need something that is a little heaver, but overall it is a great jacket

THIS IS AN ALRIGHT JACKET. IT IS GREAT AND LIGHTWEIGHT, BUT FOR THOSE DAYS THAT YOU NED A HEAVIER JACKET, BUY ANOTHER HEAVIER JACKET. BUT THE DOWNSIDE TO THIS JACKET IS THAT IF YOU WORK OUT LIKE ME AND YOU THINKING THAT IT WILL FIT PROPERLY BY GETTING A 2XL THINK AGAIN!!! AND IT IS KINDA SNUG AROUND THE WAIST PERMITTING YOU FROM TRYING TO CHOKE UP ON THE JACKET. IF U HAVE A SMALL FRAME THIS IS OK, BUT IF YOU HAVE A MEDIUM TO MIDBIG FRAME THAN I SUGGET U GET A 3XL, BUT IT IS HARD TO FIND A GOOD JACKET LIKE THIS ONE FOR THE PRICE. THIS IS A.D. FROM D.C.

Great jacket but note that that jacket is mostly polyester and the apex aerobic fabric is only on the panels (the gray areas); hence the name hybrid. With that said, the mobility is of the jacket is excellent. The panels are on the front, back and sides give an adequate amount of stretch.
I am 5'9" 160 lbs and the jacket fits me well. It's not too loose, but not tight enough where i couldn't wear a fleece under it.
