The North Face Men's Alpine Project Jacket brings superlight waterproof protection to any climbing trip. This jacket definitely comes in handy when you're climbing in places with unpredictable weather like Yosemite, Bugaboos, and the Tetons.

To ensure fantastic waterproof breathable protection, The North Face relied on Gore-Tex to create the perfect membrane for such a superlight jacket. Influenced by Gore-Tex's performance-driven Active membrane, the Gore-Tex Active Light and Fast membrane is 30% thinner and lighter for guaranteed waterproofing without the weight. Due to its thin design, Gore-Tex Active Light and Fast maximizes breathable comfort for hardworking climbers.

The North Face also equipped the Alpine Project with zippers at each underarm for ventilated airflow. The fully adjustable hood, a cinch-cord hidden in the hem, and non-abrasive cuff tabs seal out cold drafts on brisk belays. Polyurethane zippers provide extra wet-weather protection that most jackets don't have, and there are mesh pockets on the inside for belay gloves.
