Good for running

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Size Bought: medium

I ran 30 miles with this baby and work pretty well. Wear it with confidence that it doesn't add problems to your run but help you in your performance.

No complaints after my test-drive run

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

As a lifelong runner ever since discovering that I was the fastest kid in first grade, ran track & cross-country in high school, ran regularly after college, and who is now enjoying retirement, I have tried many brands and models of running shorts over the years and these are among the best. I typically run in shorts with a 7-inch inseam, but it was nice to have the extra coverage of a 9-inch inseam during my test run yesterday (12/30/14), which was 6.5 miles (10.5 km) in cool (63 °F), breezy weather (gusts 10-12 mph). The inseam ends just above the knee, which is great for winter running in Phoenix, AZ. (TNF makes these shorts in both a 7-inch and a 9-inch inseam.)

I normally wear waist-size 31 pants for a relaxed fit and size 30 for a snug fit, so I ordered this Agility Short in size small, and I’m happy that I did. Despite the trim (but not tight) fit, deep squats are no problem in these shorts, probably due to the stretch fabric (14% Spandex, 86% Polyester).

The side pockets lie flat and are almost invisible. They seem to have adequate depth, but I did not try using them to carry anything. I did use the zippered security pocket to contain my truck key, and I especially appreciate that the zipper is located on the right-hand side where I can see it instead of on the back. I also like that the metal zipper pull has a red rubber-covered tip to make it easy to find and grip.

I have not washed the shorts yet, so I don’t know how they will hold up. If I find any problems regarding shrinkage, durability, or other issues, I will update this evaluation if possible.

Too short

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:True to size

Bought these for husband and he felt like they were too short. Good quality, just didn't look right. He is not a runner but wanted to use them for Ski Conditioning type classes and didn't care for the style. S fit well for him, true to size for smaller build. Probably would be great for running but not for all purpose exercise.

I like em

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Picked up two pairs of these recently as they were on sale. I've been using them for work outs, yoga, and running. The material is light, breathable, and wicks moisture well. I didn't realize they have an inner mesh liner. I'm not for or against it, just take note that its there. The zip up pocket is small, good for an ipod shuffle but nothing much bigger. I'm 6'3 and they sit a bit above my knee, so they're not short shorts but not baggy basketball shorts by any means. They are a little shorter than I had hoped. Overall I recommend them, especially at the discounted price, so get em cheap while you can!

Good running shorts

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Used it for several times for running and trail running. Material is really durable, lightweight and breathable. The only disappointment is zip pocket, which is advertised as mp3 player pocket. You can put only really small players in it, I struggled to put even my car keys in it, so it is just key pocket and that's it. Forget about your smartphone, it goes only in non-zippered pockets.

Overall impression: Good running short

Look: Really cool

I would recommend it.
