Aeon II Jacket - Women's

The North Face Women’s Aeon II Jacket has 550-fill down? But it looks so stylie … so un-typical-puffy-jacket-y. Yup, this jacket uses lofty down to warm your torso on freezing ski days and evenings spent downtown. The Aeon II lives in The North Face Steep Tech collection, so you know this jacket is seriously durable. Two zip shoulder vents help vent hot air out during hard mogul runs, and front pockets warm your digits when you stroll into town at night.

Bottom Line: No shivering on the slopes.

A+++++++ WARMTH COMFORT STYLE

By:
January 4, 2009

If you want to stay toasty warm in style, this is the jacket you want. It's worth the price!! My daughter went skiing in colorado a few weeks ago. The wind chill was -23, but she stayed toasty warm in this jacket. Follow the suggestion about measuring over your clothes. My daughter measured 31 1/2" with a sweatshirt (29 c bra) 90 pounds, so we ordered an xs. Although it was an acceptable fit, we exchanged it for a small and it was perfect! This allowed for the extra movement involved in outdoor sports. I would suggest adding an extra 1 1/2" to your measurement to allow for movement and comfort and you will have an excellent fit. If you only wear a t-shirt or light weight fabric then you probably wouldn't need to add the extra 1 1/2". The small still looks great on -- not too big. I hope this helps anyone with sizing questions. ** we paid the extra overnight shipping to get the jacket in time for the trip. It was worth it and it arrived just as promised the next day--and we don't live in a big city!! I love backcountry.com.

Medium measures 24.5" center back length. The sleeve length is 34". Add or subtract an inch with the other sizes.

Wonderful Stylish Coat

By:

GF says the jacket is wonderful. Keeps her warm and is pretty stylish. Only problem was the details weren't updated at time of purchase, so the colors were a little different and there was no fur trim on the hood (She really wanted that). Otherwise, wonderful jacket.
