You can wear The North Face Women's Adele Triclimate Jacket year-round because the fleece liner is removable. Wear the fully taped HyVent shell by itself on rainy and snowy days, and keep the midweight fleece liner nearby in case it gets chilly. The liner is also great on brisk hikes from spring to fall, and you can combine the two jackets for winter ski sessions. The Adele also features underarm zippers for ventilation, a removable hood, hook-and-loop cuffs, and a drawcord at the hem for a secure fit. Media compatibility lets you listen to your music on the slopes.

Awesome Coat!!!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

This is my very first North Face purchase--I always shied away because of the cost. I have been missing out! This coat is worth every dollar spent and more. It is the lightest and warmest coat I have ever owned. I am sold on North Face. If I had any complaints at all it would be that the pockets are set a little far back, but it was fine after getting used to.

Short and awkward-not me the jacket

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I wanted to love this jacket, as I do the many North Face articles of clothing I own. This had to go back, though. The jacket was short for me, I'm 5'7 and always buy size large. It was a little snug but I could live with that. The worst part of the jacket are the awkward pockets. They are practically on the back of the jacket. So strange and uncomfortable to use.

Almost perfect

  • Fit:True to size

The blue wasn't my favorite, but I would have kept it if it wasn't for that cheap scratchy "fleece" material lining the pockets. Putting my hands in there made me cringe. Also, the removable fleece lining is pretty thin and cheap looking on its own, but that is compared to the regular North Face fleeces that are nice and thick. As far as size goes, it was pretty accurate to what I expected. Large just fit, XL probably too big, Medium definitely too small. I am 5'9 and 170 lbs.

Beautiful Jacket

  • Fit:True to size

The color blue is very nice. Jacket is warm and comfortable . Love that the fleece can be worn separately on those warmer fall days. It's a winner as are most Northface Jackets tend to be. Not to mention Northface has a lifetime guarantee on their jackets for life. I love buying from Backcountry. They are so easy to work with.

What does "fully taped HyVent shell" mean? Is it waterproof?
