I wasn't sure what size to get, I get medium for the coats so I stuck with that and it worked. It was snug when zipped, but not uncomfortable. I feel if I got a large it would be too big. Also, did the 2-day shipping and it was delivered 48hours later...can't complain! Although there are some bad reviews, i had a great experience with backcountry.
Very good!

These products are not sold in Japan.
Since backcountry.com shipped to Japan, it was good.
The quality of a product is also well found useful.

I am looking for a vest that is not too bulky and puffy. I am also short 5'2, is this a longer style vest, need something that doesn't run long? Is this a sleeker vest? Thanks Jackie

This was a Xmas present for my daughter and she was expecting it to be a little fuller and puffier than it was, she would have liked it to be more down filled and the size was a little small.
LOVE IT- perfect

Bought a blue one for my wife a couple of years ago and thought black would go better with her yoga pants. It sure did! Goes great with the matching bionic jacket. She looks fantastic and stays warm on cold days here in the mountains. One quibble: You can't tell from the picture that the material is sort of slick and shiny. The blue one she already had has more of a matte/satin appearance, which is what I was expecting. The logos on both vests are made with grayish thread -- neither are highly observable or obtrusive. Backcountry has fast, dependable shipping. Really happy with this purchase!
Show stopper!

I got this in white and couldn't be happier. I just returned from a week at Snowmass, and during the 40 degree days, this was perfect over a sweater! It also works great on slightly warmer days over a T-shirt. Because it is white, it's subject to showing more dirt, but I washed per the instructions and it still looks brand new.

I have been on the hunt for a black down vest for a long time and thought I found it with this one. Unfortunately the picture is different than the actual item - the Northface logo on the front is in high contrast and eye popping white thread instead of the subtle black shown in the picture. I love Northface products, but I DON'T love advertising them on my chest. This changed the whole vibe vs. the picture shown on the sire. I am returning.
Totally impressed!!

Is the North Face logo embroidered in white on the black vest. I have looked at this vest on other web sites and it is always in white. The photo on this site shows it to be black on black.

Its white, unfortunately. I ordered because I liked the black on black, so was disappointed and am returning : (.

I just love the vest! I was a little concerned about what size to buy and I got help from the on-line chat at Backcountry. I am 5'6" tall and 175lbs and the large fits great. The color is great. I bought it for golf on those cold days to extend the golfing season. Looks wonderful with my white underarmor mock turtle neck. Highly recommend. Also Backcountry is great. When I was concerned about the size and they said it would fit, they agreed to pay the return shipping if it did not. Fast shipping and great quality.

I love this vest...BUT....sizing is tough...there is a really big difference between the medium and the large. I am 5'4" 150 lbs. and the large was HUGE...not snug enough to be warm, and the medium is tight. I kept the medium but it is a bit small for my liking.
Great InVestment!

This vest is awesome. It has a super great fit. It's really light and thin, yet super warm. It also has drawstrings on the side, if you want to make it tighter. Great vest!!

Love my new vest. Have had my old puffy vest for years and it was time to update. This is a sleek jacket and warm. Got a small and I usually wear a size 6.
