Just wish i had read the reviews prior to ordering this garment. I am 6'3 and 100kg, usually a comfortable XL but with the size of this vest it would have comfortably fitted two of my size in it. Its no use to me whatsoever, to long, to wide and generally too big. No doubt as with all NF gear its a great piece of kit-just unfortunately i never got to try it as i gave it away once i tried it on. Was ordered to APO so too much hassle to return for me.
Top tip folks.....order at least one size if not two smaller to a comfy snug fit
Bad quality.. No dock down on backside

As I expected, front of Vest has sufficient duck down on it, but on the back of my Vest, almost empty. Hardly seen dock down.
I do not recommend buy it.
Very good!

These products are not sold in Japan.
Since backcountry.com shipped to Japan, it was good.
The quality of a product is also well found useful.

This vest works great for me backpacking. It is light weight and I can use it as a layer or on its own. It doesn't take up very much room if I need to pack it away. This vest is not for extreme cold. The sizing chart shows a large for me, but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to go with a smaller size medium. It was the right decision.

I'm 6'1 220lbs, and XLG is a little big. Go with a Large. Jacket isn't as heavy as I assumed. Not a Michigan winter vest. Will go to my NF full buffy jacket when snow hits. All-in-all not bad for the price.

I got this in a large for my son who is almost exactly the same proportions -- large was a somewhat loose fit, but medium would definitely be a little snug. Depends on how you're planning on wearing it -- if just over a baselayer or light fleece and under a shell, go with the smaller size. If over a loose flannel or hoodie, go with the large. Great vest, though, he's pretty happy with it.

This vest is definitely not for slim people. I got the medium and for it to fit, I would need to gain 50 pounds and increase my waist size by five inches. Since there's no drawstring, I'll be losing a lot of heat out the bottom.
Perfect Puffy Vest

I got this jacket as a gift for my boyfriend. The fit is amazing. It's one of The best fitting puffy vests I've seen. It's not too puffy, but also still very warm.
Awesome experience

The entire order process was awesome. I have no idea how it was delivered so quickly. I ordered my Aconcagua vest Friday afternoon, and received it Monday!
The same vest was available at my local brick and mortar store, but ONLY in black. That would mean everybody would have the same iconic black North Face. I wanted to be unique. I found Grey and Blue available...I ordered the blue.
It is the perfect weight to fit my needs. I wear it while snow shoeing, but also shopping and to work. When I take the fleece out of my Columbia Jacket (sorry North Face) the vest zips in perfectly.
great choice for a light vest

This is a nice down vest with a medium fill. I usually wear an XL for the extra length but an XL is this vest runs wide around the middle. I'm 6'4", 200lbs.
Very light...kind of warm?

So I wanted a light down vest and thought this would be a great choice. It's not bulky and it's light. I thought a 550 fill down vest would be warm enough but I found myself cold here in Seattle. It's only been two days and the vest is spitting out feathers....I'm going to return it for the Nuptse 2 down.
Best part of my wardrobe

This is so versatile, throw a button up underneath, if you need more warmth then add a jacket. It slightly larger than your average jacket for layering, so no need to get a larger size. I'm 220 6ft, and a Large fits me just fine. Its not water proof however if it's sprinkling out it will do fine.

Is this vest zip-in compatible with TNF jackets or just a "stand alone" vest? If this is or isn't TNF zip-in compatible, which TNF vests are? Thanks in advance for your answer.

I would go for the North Face Redpoint vest as a zip-in option:
