Description

Extra warmth for extra cold days on the mountain or in town.

Your girl might not be summiting peaks in the Andes (at least not yet), but she could still use The North Face Girls' Aconcagua Down Vest for layering on the coldest days in town. Packed with 550-fill down, this vest insulates her torso in order to extend that warmth to her fingers, toes, and everywhere in between.
  • This vest zips into compatible jackets from The North Face (sold separately) for use as a mid-layer
  • A DWR-coated outer nylon shell sheds snow if she gets caught in a shower
  • Smooth polyester lining slides easily over baselayers and school clothes
  • Brushed collar lining feels smooth on her chin
  • Two zippered hand pockets provide a place to stash cold fingers during recess
  • The quilted body keeps the insulation in place so it's effective and durable

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it.

I purchased the vest in Razzle Pink for both my daughter and myself. I felt that the vest ran big. The color is great! I have not given it to my daughter yet as it is for Valentine's Day. I am sure she will love it. Quality is what you would expect from The North Face.

I am a 5'2" women who usually wears a size 4. I purchased the purple girls size L. Fits pretty good. I love the purple color.

What a cute vest! Lightweight and well-made. But the Large is really large. I usually wear a 2 Petite or a Girls Large, but this was wide, wide, wide all the way down. Even with a bulky sweater on it was too big, and I'd hoped to wear it as my only top layer over a long-sleeve hiking shirt.

Got this vest for me accidentially wrong size. I am a 5.2 110lbs women and by accident ordered a XS girls vest. Unfortunetely a little to tight for me. However feel and looks is great. I will have to find the same in my size.

What is the size chart for this product?

Look in the dark gray box on the right side of the page. There is a little ruler icon which says "Size ?" next to it.

I got the vest in black. 20 year old, 5'5", 130lbs, and an XL fits a little big. A large would have worked too...but the XL isn't bad. Perfect for if I wear it over my Oso. Girl's vests are less expensive and the way to go compared to women's. Just measure your actual measurements.

Hi there, I just had a question about your experience with the size large. I am also 5"5, 130 lbs and 23. My chest is a size B. And I am just a little hesitant to buy a girl's large. Based on your experience with your purchase do you think it will fit well? How is the length on you? Thanks!
