The North Face A5 Utility Short - Men's - 2007 BCS

I've been looking for a good pair of shorts to fit my awkward lower body for years. Enter the North Face A5. These shorts are the perfect length, weight, comfort, etc., etc. They have the outdoor short feel to them without all the unnecessary pockets. I wear these shorts on a near daily basis, and would recommend them to anyone.

Good fit, nice soft (but durable material) good color choice. Excellent shorts for hiking, golf, or just kickin' it.

Well made, comfortable, roomy for us bigger sizes

I have been wearing a5 shorts for a number of years now. They are the discontinued velcro fly, cord waisted variety. I love them. When I saw these, zipper,belt needed shorts in brown, I said lets give it a shot. (I wanted another color). They have the same deep pockets good for almost any activity, a right side cell phone pocket rather than the small change pouch normally seen. The color (brown) is great, the fabric is velour like, very attractive. So much so I may keep them for dress rather than climbing, biking etc. See for yourself when you find them.

These shorts are super high quality, comfortable, and stylish. I only have good things to say about them.

Very nice looking short, comfortable. Word of caution to those over 6ft tall. I am 6'2" and the shorts came 3 inches above the knee. Had to return.

These shorts are great! Very comfortable, great fit. I've found the velcro utility pocket on the side to be very useful, as well.
My only qualm is that these are pre-worn-in, which means I'll get that much less use out of them myself. However, they seem sturdy enough, and I'm sure still I'll get many, pleasant years of use out of them.
Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend them to others.
