The North Face A5 Motoring Pant - Men's - 2007 BCS

I bought these pants, and got to wear them for exactly 1 night before one of the studs holding the top corner of a back pocket simply fell off. Cloth wasn't ripped, stitching was intact, pants are still good except now there's a weird white dot of adhesive where the stud was.

Otherwise the pant is good, oddly warm actually. It's a very soft and plush kind of canvas that.... feels much nicer AND much warmer than canvas.

I think it's important to remember with North Face that their good stuff is in the A5 Summit series etc and that the rest of their stuff is more yuppy fodder.

These are a nice soft and comfortable material that is used. They fit true to size and cover my butt nicely. The ladies are always watching me walk off. Well that is what I would like to think! Really these are a great pair of pants that are light and great for hotter weather. They are a casual pant so they are not the best for scrambling around in the hills because I could see the material wearing out if exposed to rigorous outdoor activities. I have not had any issues yet but am cautious when out and about in the hills.

Some people don't seem to like these a lot but they worked great for me. They are super comfortable, I've had no problems at all with the quality and own 3 pair. I'm glad they have a short version since it's not as easy to find things with a 30 to 31 inch inseam. The cell phone/ipod pocket is slick and the main pockets have plenty of room. I'd wear these every day if I could, work, driving, weekends... Love em.

I'd wear these pants everyday if I could get away with it. I find the fit to be very comfortable and true to size. As someone else noted the phone/ipod pocket is slick! I'm getting myself another pair now.

These are the best pants in the history of the planet. I buy them two at a time because I wear them out from wearing them so often. I recommend you do the same.
