Love them!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

My feet have been through torture the past few years having two babies in two years and then broken sesamoids. Until the sesamoids, I lived in Teva and Reef flip flops 10 months out of the year, but my injury will take possibly a year to fully recover, and until then, flip flops are no-go. I thought I would be stuck in old-lady orthotic sandals until I found these. The footbed is wonderful with a deep heel cup and good arch support. They are also comfortable without being squishy. The heel strap is not adjustable, but this was not a problem for me like it was in Chacos. The two areas that rubbed (my pinky toe and heel) only took a day to resolve and now I wear them every day. I love that there's no velcro to get nasty and worn out, and that they come in half sizes. I tried these on at DSW for size and then ordered from backcountry.com for the best deal. Mine are a half size smaller than I usually wear. I normally wear a wide, and these fit fine.

Too Narrow

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

These sandals look great and have nice tread, but the arch support isn't what I was expecting and they were too narrow for my feet. I do have pretty wide feet but these sandals weren't adjustable enough and they didn't look flattering on my feet.

okay...

These shoes look good, they have a comfortable foot bed, and it is nice to have a small strap. However that strap is too long making it very difficult to adjust snuggly on my average size foot. When I wore these shoes around my house, my foot easily slid around and out. These will be returned and that bums me out.

Not for me...

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

These had great reviews so I decided to give them a try. I bought my usual size (10) and was a little worried that they would be too narrow since I have a bit wider of a foot. The opposite ended up being true. They were too loose over the front of my foot and there was no way to adjust them. Since they ended up being too loose and would have caused blisters I returned them before ever wearing them.

best ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

these are awesome because they don't cause hot spots, the straps don't rub in weird ways, and stones don't get stuck in them. the straps are not super bulky looking. also, these are super light, compared to other sandals, ie. chacos. highly recommend!

LOVE THESE!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

When I opened the box and tried them on, they feel wonderful! I have had foot surgery and am a bit picky about shoes, and these are great! Can't wait to take them on my next trip!

Comfortable!

I usually go for minimalist shoes (shoes that have little to no arch support, heel support, etc) and these were not quite what I usually go for but I am presently surprised in their comfort.

Great!

These sandals have been great for more active things in the summer like biking and playing outside!

Straps that don't chafe

I have picky feet that usually find straps (especially thinner ones) to be uncomfortable and downright painful. However, I LOVE these sandals!

The footbed is supportive and is thick enough to absorb shock but not heavy enough to feel clunky. The strap doesn't dig into your foot like most strappy sandals do and although there's only one strap, it is secure. I probably wouldn't wear these on any hiking trail (I'd opt for regular Tevas), but will gladly wear these on a long day trek around a city. I finally found a supportive sandal that is comfortable AND cute to wear around town with non-sporty clothes.
