With a stable fit, plenty of traction, and tons of comfort, the Teva Men's Terra-Fi 2 Sandals are your ticket to adventure. Teva's well-known universal strapping system uses four points of retention to hold your foot in place while giving your toes freedom. The grippy River Rubber outsole grabs onto slippery rocks and steep trails. The EVA midsole and footbed give these shoes shock-absorbing comfort, while the Terra-Fi 2's encapsulated shock pad increases cushioning.
Bottom Line: Prepare your feet for adventure with the Terra-Fi 2 Sandals.
they're ok. my buddy told me that teva's were the best... so i got some and can say that i have worn em prolly once, i prefer chacos by a million miles. velcro is such a pain!!! if youre looking to do anything in the water, go with the chaco brand sandals, MUCH better and lasts WAAAAAY longer! sorry teva lovers..
i'll second that. Teva doesnt hold up against chaco. the velcro is a big pain. and i woul prolly say that if you got these over chacos....you'll always regret the day...chacos all the way
I've been switching Sandals every summer, finally i think i found the right one. Tried this in the beach, hiking and just everyday use.. very comfortable and airy.
Look down the page. Sumner says they are 1 lb 5 oz. Amazon has the item weight as 2 lbs. Somewhere between those two numbers based on size would give you a close estimate to the weight of a pair.

i wear either an 11 or an 11.5- which should I buy in the Tevas? Lost my last pair driving over the New River Bridge..had them on the roof drying out...
I plan on buying one pair of these every spring. They are the best sandals I have ever worn. I know that everyone has their own style, these are my style.
i usually don't like to purchase shoes or clothing online because you never know if they are what they look like or if the product will actually fit. these shoes are great. they looked exactly as they did in the pictures. they are very comfortable, rugged, and are true to size. "if you like 'em buy 'em".
I like this model. Fits perfect once I figured out the correct size; took me only two tries.
Anyway, they are very comfortable and have good cushioning. I tend to agree about the plastic thing but not the one on the sides but the one on top of the ankle. It is not too bad if you do not tie everything down too much but I can imagine, that it becomes annoying once you really decide to hike in them and walk downhill. But hey, they are not hiking boots, so do not expect too much.
The velcros are on the better side of the velcro universe. They are not falling apart after three weeks of use which is a huge plus. My last pair of sandals suffered exactly from that and I had them for three years. Boy am I glad I got these here now. I like especially that when I ride my bicycle, which has cages, my feet do not slip in the sandal while I am standing up and climbing smaller hills.
And they come in black. Yes, real black. Not in asphalt, not dark grey that looks in the picture like black. No, real dark black. Nothing fancy, no yellow stipes or ladybug patches. Nothing, just plain black. That's how I like it.
I am not sure what one could do to improve the sandal. Yes, perhaps the plastic things top of the ankle. But I'm not sure what one could do about it.
And I would not spend more than $60 for them because, you know, they are sandals and not dress shoes.
....but they're ridiculously uncomfortable. The footbeds are great; honestly the most comfortable I've ever felt on a sandal. But the straps are just poorly designed. That big plastic thing on the side has no give to it at all, and not only puts painful pressure on the sides of my feet, but rubs so badly that my feet were bleeding after 10 minutes of walking. Very disappointing.
These are the 2nd pair of these sandals I have purchased. The most comfortable sandals ever with tremendous heel cushioning. They do get smelly after awhile and especially if they get wet while wearing. But they are easily thrown in the wash with good results. Can't say anything negative about these and...they come in half sizes!
I've used Teva for more than ten years, that should speak! Recently I developed a hoarding tendency and have picked three designs in the Terra Fi series - comfortable, great cushioning and the perfect sandal to live in.
The smell is in an issue though and the fibres get messed in the wash. So it's good old toothbrush and cleaner for me.
They look good enough to go out for dinner and they are definitely rugged enough for hiking. I bought them prior to going on vacation in Cozumel Mex. Most comfortable sandal I've owned. Glad I paid the extra coin. 5 star rating.
These are probably the most comfortable pair of sandals I have owned. Under the webbing straps, there is a layer of foam attached that is wider and distributes the pressure from the strap. The soles are also super grippy.
I got these for hiking out to and wearing at the crag. I decided on them because they were adjustable enough to be secured tightly to my extremely narrow feet. However, when they are tightened enough to prevent slippage while ascending or descending hills the hard bulge on the molded piece the straps attach to digs into the inside of my ankle and is really painful. I even tried wearing socks and it still killed my feet. As a result I do not use these for hiking.
they're ok. my buddy told me that teva's were the best... so i got some and can say that i have worn em prolly once, i prefer chacos by a million more...
