The next step you take on a wet, rocky surface should be in the Teva Terra Fi 3.
- Teva’s Universal Strapping System secures your foot through four connection points for maximum foot hold and comfort for activities
- Spider Rubber sole provides the exceptionally durable, no-slip grip on wet or dry surfaces
- Shoc Pad in the heel cup transfers energy throughout the entire footbed during impact and rebounds during your stride
- Microban technology uses the natural anti-microbial properties of zinc to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus

I liked them a lot. I took them with me to Mongolia and they held up great! However, after about 1.5 years the straps began to become really fuzzy and worn out. Other than that, they were great.

I have wider feet, so these shoes fit great for me. I'm normally a size 7 1/2 so I bought them that size and they fit perfect!
I wear them on long hikes, in water, at the desert, and even for casual wear. They don't seem to be wearing out yet!
I'm a Teva Girl!
I bought a pair of Chacos because every rants about how great they are. The sole was not a good fit for me because I have slightly wider feet than most women. After uncomfortably wearing my Chacos for a couple of months, I decide to go with a pair of good old Teva's. I love them! They have a super comfy sole, they are grippy on the trails, they cater to my wide feet and they look good. I definitely recommend that you give them a try.
P.S. I am an women's 8.5 and purchased the 8.5 and they fit like a charm.
Great Sandals but they run a little big.
Love these Teva Sandals. Very solid and sturdy. I walked for several hours in them the first day I had them. Great for beach walking on rocks and shells. The only down side was that I ordered my normal size, 8 and found that it was too big. I had to return it for a 7.5. However, the return process was very easy and went very smooth. I would recommend these sandals
Very comfy, excellent quality and provides enough support for long days with lots of walking in the hospital. I have one pair for work, and one pair for use outdoors, very happy with them! They are also stable enough to use for hiking as long as the backpack is not too heavy.
I finally bought these after a tough decision between the Chaco Z2 unaweep. I'm thrilled with my choice. My foot feels more secure in the teva sandel, and I love the spider rubber. So far these have held up against slippery rocks in many fast running rivers. They even held up soaking wet for a 4 mile walk home after a canoeing trip gone wrong. I ordered a 6.5 (I am a small 7 or large 6.5) so if you're in between a size, I'd go for the smaller.

I have a badly destroyed ankle, and my foot and ankle swell with arthritis so I need a thick boot that is wide over the ankle. The same applies to shoes and summer boots. What can you suggest. I am not going to consider any thing under a women's size 9 - although that will be somewhat long. I know that I will need the extra space. What can you suggest in winter boots, walking shoes and sandals, etc?
This is my third pair! This is a comfortable durable sandal that can be worn everyday. They're perfect for light hiking or the grocery store.
