Best Tevas Ever!
Absolutely fantastic closed toed hiking sandals. Replaced an identical pair that I've worn for over 10 years and miles and miles of hiking in multiple countries.

Yes
Took these on two week Safari to Africa. Traveled by land , sea , hiking and air they worked out perfectly. Super comfortable able to withstand heat, water, sand no problem . Ventilated enough to keep your feet from getting to hot but also protect you toes at the same time. the sole is non slip and works great on wet slippery surfaces and while out hiking on uneven rocky surfaces. This is my second pair and the other ones I use for wet wading in both fresh and salt water . Definitely will get another pair when I need some

Great!
I just got back from a three week trip to Europe. During my trip I wore these Teva Omniums pretty much every day and did a lot of walking - miles per day. These are great!! Comfortable, cushioned footpad, nice fit. Love these and will continue wearing now that I'm back. I got these just before I left to replace an older, worn out pair of Texas.

Nice shoe
Use this kayaking. Have peddle kayaks and the shoe has good support and rigidity to peddle all day with no pain. Heal strap could use some lining as it rubs my heal raw some days. Would have gotten a five except for the heal.

Took some time to break in
Size 7.5 was snug on my 7.5D feet. On the other hand, my grip inside and outside the shoe is fantastic. The insole doesn't breathe and makes my feet instantly sweaty. I won't buy the same insole material again.

Beautiful sandal, but not great for long arches
I bought these as a replacement for a predecessor of these that have been my favorite sandals, but have long since been discontinued. I think these are great in every way, with the exception the new foot bed. It is uncomfortable for my rather long arches (It felt like I was standing on a tree branch!) and I had to return them. I am still giving 4 stars because I think Teva makes an amazing sandal, and if I had a more normal or maybe high arch these probably would have been my new favorite.

Bleeding blisters on heel
I always wear sandals barefoot, that's the point in wearing them in my opinion. These sandals are both good looking and well made in general, but they really goofed up with the hard-rough material that wraps around the back of the heel. It's a hard as tent canvas and worse yet, it's very rough, causing a one inch wide blood stain where it rubbed. I only bought these, because I really liked the hurricane sandals with a quilted nylon top, but they don't sell those anymore (a stupid decision by Teva).

Bad stitching
For the soft under part of the upper, the stitching stuck out farther than the soft padding and was very abrasive. I've had the open toe Teva Sandals (3 pair) over the years and absolutely love them. But these close toed sandals they need to take a close look at their workmanship. I ended up returning.

I just bought 2 more pairs
These Omniums are fantastic. I'm a physician and on my feet 12-14 hours a day: in my office, rounding in the hospital & making house calls. Additionally, my wife and I walk our dogs 3 times a day for a half hour each time. I've been through so many different types of shoes & sandals over the years and finally landed on the Omniums. These sandals are by far the most comfortable and durable my feet have ever had the pleasure of walking in. At the end of my very long days my feet, knees, hips & low back are never tired or weary. They're dressy enough (with low profile socks) that I can wear them in my office & in the hospital. I heartily recommended these sandals. For all you folks that are getting pressure points during the break in period , just wear a pair of thin low profile socks: problem eliminated. We live in Florida where heat & humidity can make feet very warm & sweaty in shoes, not an issue in these cool Tevas.
